Abstract: The present disclosure provides a termination band and a method of manufacturing the termination band, which includes a strap and a head. When secured, the head comprises an upper wall, lower wall and opposed side walls formed as a loop with the strap extending therefrom. The termination band is therefore formed as a two-piece component, rather than a single piece as in the prior art. Advantageously this enables the strap and the head to be formed from stainless steel strip having the same width as the head and the strap. It is therefore not necessary to trim the material of either part, hence there is significantly reduced material wastage when forming the termination band. In addition, because the strap and head are both initially in the form of straight-sided elongate strips prior to the folding or joining operations, both parts may be easily edge finished and/or surface finished.

Abstract: A cable support is provided that includes an elongate support member for supporting a cable or cables secured thereto. A mounting member is connected to the support member and secures the support member to a mounting stud on a trim panel or other support substrate. The mounting member comprises a bore for receiving the mounting stud. A locking member is provided that has an aperture formed therein for receiving the mounting stud. The locking member is connected to the mounting member in axial alignment with the bore and rotatably connected to the mounting member such that the mounting member and support member are rotatable relative to the locking member.

A free end of the flexible strap can be inserted into the head and secured, such that retraction from the head is inhibited by the locking member. The free end of the strap is provided with an approachment formation arranged to guide the free end of the strap to pass the locking member in a predetermined manner.

Abstract: A cable enclosure sealing arrangement has a seal body with one or more cavities extending the full length of the sealing member and a slit extending from each cavity to the exterior of the sealing body such that the edges of each slit may be pulled apart to expose the cavity and permit insertion of a cable. The cavity may include a profiled interior surface having inclined or curved surface portions projecting into the cavity the inclination or curvature of the profiled surface portions being in opposite senses at opposite end zone sections of the cavity. The arrangement has a compression system for compressing the sealing member to effect sealing along the longitudinal slit. A tie rod extending through a central portion of the body and connecting two end plates can be used for this purpose.
