Abstract: A waterborne lubricant, useful in the plastic working of metals, which imparts a lubricating behavior to the surface of metals in the absence of a conversion coating contains (A) water-soluble inorganic salt and (B) wax, wherein these components are dissolved or dispersed in water and the (B)/(A) solids weight ratio is 0.3 to 1.5. The (C) metal salt of a fatty acid can also be present at a (C)/(A) solids weight ratio of 0.01 to 0.4. The water-soluble inorganic salt (A) can be selected from the sulfates, silicates, borates, molybdates, and tungstates. The wax (B) can be a synthetic wax having a melting point of 70 to 150° C. A lubricating coating is formed by application to give a post-drying add-on of 0.5 to 40 g/m2. A method for using said lubricant is also provided.

Abstract: Fiber-coloring components for dye compositions and methods for using the same, wherein the compositions comprise: (i) at least one component A comprising a compound selected from imidazo[1,5-a]pyrimidinium derivatives of general formula I, enamine counterparts of such derivatives, and mixtures thereof: and (ii) at least one component B comprising a reactive carbonyl compound.
Abstract: The reversible separation of bonded joints by applying alternating electromagnetic fields is described. The bonded joint consists of at least one primer layer which contains nanoscale particles which have ferromagnetic, ferrimagnetic, superparamagnetic or piezoelectric properties. As a result of the alternating electromagnetic fields, large amounts of localised heat are produced in the primer layer of the bonded joint. This localised heat input causes, in the case of adjacent thermoplastic adhesive layers, softening of the thermoplastic binder. If thermoset adhesives are adjacent to the boundary layer of the primer, then the cross-linked structure in the binder matrix is broken up due to the high degree of localised warming. In both cases quasi-adhesive substrate separation with a low energy input is enabled as a result of the high localised warming of the boundary layer.
Abstract: The invention relates to a powder-tight packaging for a good, particularly a powdery good, which has an inner frame and is formed from at least one folding blank that comprises at least one rear side (2), one front side (1) and two lateral sides (3, 4) of the packaging, these sides being attached to one another while being delimited by fold lines. In order to construct the packaging, the folding blank is closed to form tubular shape. The folding blank also has at least one top tab (8) and at least one bottom tab (9).

Abstract: A mixture of substances is designated for introduction into a liquid aqueous system and comprises at least one extremely finely divided active substance component that is designated for subsequent dissolution or dispersion in the liquid aqueous system. The mixture of substances comprises a proportion of cellulose-containing plant fibers and is present in finely particulate form. The cellulose-containing plant fibers improve both the transformation of the extremely finely divided active substance component into the finely particulate form and also its subsequent redissolution in the liquid aqueous system.

Abstract: The present invention describes a method for the post-treatment of fully sealed anodized aluminum parts, especially for the automotive industry, characterized in that an aqueous silicate solution is applied to fully sealed anodized aluminum layers, where said fully sealed anodized aluminum layer has a film thickness of at least 5 pm and a film weight of at least 13 g/m2, respectively. Said solution preferably contains an alkali metal (M) silicate with not more than 2.0 wt.-% of SiO2, in which the ratio of SiO2:M20 is preferably not more than 2. This treatment increases the alkaline stability according to the standardized corrosion tests in the automotive industry without any further treatment or organic coating applied to said treated aluminum surface.
