Abstract: The invention relates to a device (9) for locking a retractable roof of a motor vehicle (2), comprising: a strike (11) fixed to a lateral roof element (7a, 7b); a locking finger (12) pivotally mounted on a support (13) fixed to the front roof element (3) between an unlocked position and a locked position in which said finger (12) exerts on the strike (11) a force along a substantially vertical axis Z so as to press the lateral roof element (7a, 7b) towards its covering position in which it bears on the central element (6) and/or on the front element (3). The invention also relates to a locking system, a retractable roof and a vehicle equipped with such a device.

Abstract: An electrical power supply system for an electrically powered motor vehicle, said vehicle including an electric motor, and a transmission device for transmitting energy between the drive wheels and the motor, said vehicle further including electrical accessories, in particular an air-conditioning device. Said system comprises a first rechargeable battery serving to power the electric motor and a second rechargeable battery serving to power the electrical accessories of the vehicle, the batteries being connected in parallel to the motor. The invention also relates to a method for controlling such a system.

Abstract: A seat for a motor vehicle includes a seat and a backrest, the seat including inner and outer lateral supporting legs, the legs being placed on either side of the seat and being designed to be joined to the motor vehicle. The seat also has a beam for joining the seat to the inner and outer supporting legs. The beam extends laterally between the supporting legs and is joined to the seat and legs. The joining beam is arranged so as to transmit the energy of a side crash from the outer lateral supporting leg to the inner lateral supporting leg. The inner supporting leg has a structure arranged so as to deform and absorb at least a part of the energy from the side crash.

Abstract: Safety apparatus to reduce injury to occupants of a convertible in the event of its rollover. The apparatus utilizes opposed curved bars slideably stored within mating, hollow, arcuate receptacles attached to the vehicle with one end open upward across and adjacent to the top rear of an occupant's seat. The bars each have springs arranged to deploy one end of the bar upward and outward from the top of a receptacle. A trigger mechanism secures the bars within the receptacles against the force of the spring. The trigger is arranged to release both springs in the event of impact, thus permitting the bars to be deployed outward opposite the top of the vehicle. When deployed in this manner, locks secure the bars in the deployed position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for protecting objects that are disposed in the rear trunk of a motor vehicle having a retractable roof. The device comprises a panel that is movable between a lowered position and a raised position, at least one sensor arranged to detect the position of said panel, releasable latches for locking the lid relative to the trunk, and a control unit for releasing said latches. The control unit releases the latches responsive to a command to move the roof or the lid of the trunk, and when the position of the panel as detected by the sensor is compatible with the movement requested. This enables the lid to open selectively from the front backwards or from the rear towards the front of the vehicle.

The convertible seat is made up of two surfaces, one of a seat and one of a backrest. These are supported by two frames which are symmetrical with respect to a horizontal frame. The frames are made of rigid elements. The elements are connected by joints at each end to create a unit of four axles which permit folding the rigid elements to various configurations.

Abstract: The invention relates to a rear parcel shelf system for a convertible vehicle with a hard folding roof. The system has a first retractable shelf. The inventive system also has a second shelf which is intended to be disposed under the bonnet of the rear boot when the roof is in the closed position and has a device for moving and guiding the second shelf towards the front of the vehicle in order to fill the space between the back of the corresponding seats and the front edge of the bonnet when the roof is in the folded position.
