The method and computer program product then presents information about the commodity included in the ticket, information about a service that provides the commodity, and service provision content information acquired during the search.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for providing a switch user functionality in a server-agent environment in an information technological (IT) network in which at least one agent runs on a node of the IT network, comprising: generating a switch user (SU) certificate using public-key cryptography upon receiving a request to switch from a user account presently used on the node to another user account; sending the SU certificate to the agent; checking the correctness of the SU certificate; performing the requested switch to the other user account provided that the SU certificate is correct. Abstract: A method for performing a parallel hash transformation in a network device to generate a hash pointer for an address input. The method includes the step of receiving an address input. The address input is apportioned among a plurality of hashing units. The hashing units are configured to operate in parallel. A hash transformation is executed on the apportioned address inputs in parallel, resulting in a corresponding plurality of hashing unit outputs. The hashing unit outputs are combined to generate a hash result corresponding to the address input.

Abstract: A method for configuring network devices in a network includes creating a domain having a management device and a plurality of select network devices. A configuration command is issued from the management device to a central network device in the domain to configure at least one of the network devices in the domain identified by the management device. The central network device then issues a configuration command to each of the identified select network device.

Abstract: An electronic communications network technology, referred to as 100BASE-TD, offers full duplex operation and robust performance on marginal CAT5 wiring. It highly leverages 100BASE-TX functional blocks and is very complementary to 100BASE-TX, for example with regard to such 100BASE-TX features as auto-negotiation. In particular, the invention provides a carrierless IDLE that requires very low power during ambient operation.

Abstract: The invention provides a text segmentation apparatus comprising means for analyzing an electronic text to determine likelihood of segmentation point for each of sentence ends in the text based on a coherent unit and means for segmenting the text into text segments based on the likelihood of segmentation point. The apparatus is programmed to segment the text segment at the position having the best likelihood of segmentation point within the text segment when the size of any of the segmented text segments exceeds a threshold value to be determined based on the specified text segmentation size. Particularly, the apparatus determines the similarity between the text parts contained in a pair of windows to be set up on the left and right sides of each sentence end position in the text so as to obtain similarity curves. Then, the apparatus determines the likelihood of segmentation point for each sentence end point based on the obtained similarity curves.

Abstract: A method of an embodiment of the invention is disclosed that determines calibration factors for a fluid-ejection mechanism that is capable of ejecting differently colored fluids onto media. The energy used to eject fluid for each of at least one of the fluid colors is adjusted based on the calibration factors, so that fluid drop ejections of the fluid colors yield fluid drop masses having a consistent ratio.

The printer system for network printing includes a communication network adapted to transfer messages between a mobile device and a printer. The printer is connectable to the communication network to receive a print message, including a reference to a document to be printed, via the communication network. The mobile device is connectable to the communication network to transmit the print message on the communication network. A method for printing from a mobile device to a printer using a communication network includes transmitting a print message to a phone number of the printer from the mobile device where the print message includes a reference to a document to be printed.

Abstract: Every type of change in a CAD generated object is automatically and chronologically protocoled so that the object directly includes an abstract description of the history of the object independent of the CAD module used. This is particularly advantageous with decentralized CAD systems in which several constructors/designers are working together on the same draft, but located in different places. At the end of a session, the object history, i.e. the changes which have taken place, are directly exported, together with the object data, into the destination system. The abstract description is in a form independent of the system used.

Abstract: Location information about a communicating entity (41), in particular a mobile entity, is derived by identifying intermediate nodes (42) along the communication path being used by the entity, and then looking up, in a database (44), the geographic significance of at least one of these nodes when considered in a direction along the communication path towards the entity of interest. Abstract: An Innovation Information Management data tracking object model and interface which captures and stores product ideas, requirements, constraints, design alternatives and functions, along with their associated relationships, in an object model database is presented. Each object model includes information and relationships that are accessible via a publicly defined interface. In one embodiment, when an object model is saved to the object model database, the information objects making up the Innovation Information Management object model, along with their relationships to other objects, are saved in separate relational database files. Abstract: The invention relates to the discovery that pre-treating mineral oxide particles with a silylated polymeric coupling agent prior to suspending the particles in a binder polymer increases the crack resistance and adhesion of particles to a inkjet printing substrate such as paper sheets.
