Abstract: A vehicle mounted hydraulic pump assembly includes a gearbox that is configured to be connected to a power take-off that is driven by a transmission of a four-wheel drive vehicle. The gearbox includes an input gear and an output gear where a radius of the input gear is the same as a radius of an output gear. A female output connector is associated with the output gear and is configured to be disposed below a forward driveshaft that is associated with the transmission. A hydraulic pump is connected to the gearbox and is configured to be disposed forward of a transfer case that is also associated with the transmission.
