  • Patent number: 7501734
Abstract: The invention provides a motor comprising a stator and a rotor. The stator core includes a laminated stator core made of laminated stator core plates in which straight cut surfaces are formed on a circular outer peripheral surface of the laminated stator core plates. The straight cut surfaces of the laminated stator core plates are circumferentially displaced every predetermined laminated stator core plates so that the straight cut surfaces are uniformly distributed in an axial and a circumferential direction of the laminated stator core. Therefore, a flow passage for lubricating oil is ensured, while local magnetic saturation of the stator core is dissolved and a cogging torque and an induced voltage waveform distortion rate are improved.

  • Patent number: 7471525
Abstract: A converter includes a converter circuit 1 having a plurality of bridge-connected semiconductor switching devices for converting AC power into DC power, a smoothing condenser connected in parallel to the DC side of the converter circuit and a current detector provided in a condenser circuit to control a condenser current flowing through the smoothing condenser to be a set value. The condenser current is controlled to be the set value (e.g. zero) to thereby reduce the capacity of the smoothing condenser and make the converter small.

  • Patent number: 7449227
Abstract: The invention relates to a vacuum insulation panel which can be used as an insulator for a refrigerator requiring heat insulation to be provided and also to a refrigerator incorporating such a vacuum insulation panel. The invention particularly relates to an arrangement for preventing convection spaces from being formed where an edge of the vacuum insulation panel is folded back. The vacuum insulation panel includes a core which has an inner film bag in which a flexible inorganic fiber laminate is accommodated, and an outer barrier bag which is made of gas-impermeable film such as metallic foil laminated film and which accommodates the core. The inner film bag includes a welded portion and a ventilation portion. The outer barrier bag has a depressurized interior and has been sealed by welding. An edge of the inner film bag is placed in an edge of the outer barrier bag.

  • Patent number: 7361396
Abstract: A vacuum insulating material which minimizes the possibility of absorption of moisture or gas components by its core material during storage in the manufacturing process, improves manufacturing efficiency, and maintains and enhances heat insulation performance. A vacuum insulating material comprises: a core material as an inorganic fiber aggregate; a getter material which absorbs core material gas components; and an envelope with a gas barrier property which encases the core material. The getter material is contained in a housing area made by slitting the core material obliquely with respect to its surface or thickness and the opening of the housing area is narrowed by overlapping.

  • Patent number: 7334417
Abstract: An air conditioner and a power line communication system high in reliability and free of malfunction facilitates the installation work such as the wiring. The air conditioner for conducting communication through a power line includes a bridge unit connected to at least an outdoor unit through a transmission line, and at least an indoor unit connected from the power line through a blocking filter. A side of the bridge unit far from the outdoor unit is connected between the blocking filter and the indoor unit. The bridge unit subjects a signal from the outdoor unit to spread spectrum modulation and transmits it by superposing the resulting signal on the power line. The superposed signal is received and demodulated by the indoor unit.

  • Patent number: 7234646
Abstract: A hot-water supply system heats water through heat exchange between high-temperature refrigerant of a heat pump circuit and water of a water circulating circuit. The system is an instantaneous water heater unit for instantaneously heating, at a water heat exchanger, water supplied through a water supply pipe and supplying hot water to a using end unit. Therefore, a large-capacity hot-water storage tank is not needed. Sufficient heat of condensation to heat water can not be produced, because pressure conditions of the heat pump circuit is not stabilized just after the start of operation. Therefore, during a short period of rising time, hot water stored in a hot-water supply tank and water from the water heat exchanger are mixed and the mixture is supplied to keep the hot water at a preset temperature. Therefore, it is possible to use a smaller hot-water supply tank.
