Patents Assigned to Hitachi Automotive Engineering, Ltd.
  • Patent number: 5105113
Abstract: A permanent-magnetic motor employs a skew structure in an armature iron core and an equal gap structure. A center line of a permanent magnet field pole is disposed to be shifted against a mechanical center line of the motor or a center line of the iron core. The magnet field pole is made to have an unequal pitch. A cogging torque generated at both end extending portions in the magnets is cancelled out. The cogging torque of the permanent-magnetic motor in power steering assistance such as for the automobile yields a smooth steering feeling sensitivity during the operation of the automobile.

  • Patent number: 5092420
Abstract: A throttle valve position controlling apparatus comprises a motor serving to adjust the opening degree of a throttle valve disposed in an intake pipe of an engine, an air flow sensor attached to the intake pipe so as to detect an intake air amount, and a throttle control unit which is operative to obtain a deviation between a command air amount set beforehand and the intake air amount detectd by the air flow sensor and to effect a feed back control on the motor so as to minimize the deviation to zero.

  • Patent number: 4977333
Abstract: Semiconductor components electrically connected in parallel are divided into a plurality of groups, with the control terminals of the semiconductor components constituting each group being connected in common to form a control terminal of the group, wherein the control terminals of the groups are mutually independent. A load current is limited by allowing specified ones of said semiconductor components to become conductive. Control of the load current is made possible without accompanying wasteful power dissipation.

  • Patent number: 4972818
Abstract: On an outer peripheral portion of a rotor (1), three protrusions are provided per each cylinder. A pickup coil 2 is disposed facing to the outer peripheral portion with a predetermined distance. A rotation signal (S.sub.0) is converted to a rotation signal pulse (S.sub.1) having three pulses (A, B and C) per each cylinder corresponding to the three protrusions. According to the first signal (A) of the rotation signal pulse (S.sub.1) the cranking ignition period (A.sub.1) is determined. According to the second signal (B) of the rotation signal pulse (S.sub.1), the starting timing for flowing current to the ignition coil (8) is decided. According to the third signal (C) of the rotation signal pulse (S.sub.1), the ignition timing at cranking operation is defined by detecting time intervals (3t, t, 2t) between the three signals (A, B, C).

  • Patent number: 4884952
Abstract: A variable displacement compressor comprises a plurality of pistons revived in a plurality of through-holes formed in a cylinder block arranged in a fixed relationship with a rotary shaft journaled by a stationary part, and a piston drive mechanism including a wobble plate supported on the rotary shaft for wobbling movement. The wobble plate is arranged in opposition to the cylinder block and rotatably holding one ends the pistons.
