Abstract: An oil separator and an oil reservoir are formed integral with a main casing. Also, an opening communicated with the oil reservoir is formed in a part of a lower portion of an oil separation space of the oil separator. Preferably, the opening is formed so that its width is increased as it approaches an outer peripheral side of the oil separation space from a center thereof. Further, a safety valve is installed so that a line connecting between the safety valve and the center of the oil separator is made substantially in parallel to axes of screw rotors.

Abstract: A service system for air conditioner is provided which offers a total solution to a wide range of fields, from the customer relationship management covering individual users, building owners and administrators and building management companies to the maintenance and management, manufacture, design, and development on the part of the manufacturer. The service system includes a monitoring center which has the customer database, an operation information database for storing operation information of air conditioners for each customer, and a device information database having device information on the air conditioners related with each customer of the customer database. The monitoring center, upon deciding that there is anomaly in the operation information, dens to the cellular phone over the Internet the information representing the content of the anomaly and the customer information and device information associated with the operation information which was judged abnormal.

Abstract: In a service system of an air conditioner connected through a network to a monitoring center, the air conditioner receives radio wave transmitted from a GPS satellite to transmit information of the received radio wave and a manufacturer's serial number on the air conditioner to the monitoring center and the monitoring center performs service of the air conditioner on the basis of the received information and the serial number. The service system of the air conditioner can perform service, update or renewal, maintenance and the like of an air conditioner more correctly and exactly and attain speedup thereof.

Abstract: The scroll compressor includes a scroll compression mechanism portion in combination of an orbiting scroll and a fixed scroll, a frame for supporting the compression portion, a rotary shaft fitted in the orbiting scroll, a motor portion coupled to the rotary shaft, and a hermetic chamber incorporating the above-mentioned components. Windings of a stator of a motor in the motor portion are formed of aluminum wires which are coated with fluororesin compound, that is, the aluminum wires are coated with fluororesin and is molded with a resin material. Ammonia group refrigerant is used in the scroll compressor. Further, a refrigerating system using the above-mentioned scroll compressor, is incorporated therein with a circuit for injecting ammonia group refrigerant into a compression room in the compression mechanism portion.

Abstract: In a fresh water generating apparatus for condensing water content contained in air, there are provided a first heat exchanger having a refrigerant gas flow passage to which a compressed refrigerant gas is introduced, and on an outer side of which air is blown to condense the refrigerant gas, a second heat exchanger having a refrigerant liquid flow passage to which a refrigerant liquid discharged from the first heat exchanger is introduced after a pressure thereof is reduced, and on an outer side of which air is blown to cool the air and condense the water content to produce fresh water, and a power source for compressing the refrigerant gas and blowing the air.
