Abstract: A trailer comprises two elongate panels as loading ramp panels. A wheel assembly supports the panels and a trailer drawbar having a first end for connection with a draft vehicle and a second end which is secured with the wheel assembly by a first fastener and a second fastener secures the panels to the drawbar at a point spaced from the wheel assembly. A kit for utilizing two panels in a trailer comprises a wheel assembly, a drawbar and first and second fasteners for securing, respectively, the second end of the drawbar with the wheel assembly and the panels to the drawbar at a point spaced from the wheel assembly.
Abstract: The problems of how to safely load and unload a small vehicle into a truck bed, and how to transport any ramps, etc., used to load the vehicle, and/or any other cargo in the truck bed occupied by the vehicle, are addressed by providing a carrier/lift adapted to be mounted in a truck bed, and having a carrying platform that pivots and translate in a constrained manner along a pair of tracks to an inclined loading position for safe and convenient loading of the vehicle into the bed of a truck. A platform having a recess for storage of a pair of nestable loading ramps is disclosed. The platform can be supported above the floor of a truck bed to provide usable storage space in the bed of the truck between the platform, with the nested ramps stowed therein, and the floor of the truck bed.
Abstract: A ramp anchor for a truck tailgate has an anchor bar which rests on the outer edge of the horizontal upper surface of the tailgate in its lowered position. End pieces pivoted to the anchor bar engage tailgate latches below the anchor bar. The bar has telescoped sections to adjust the bar length. A square bar has end pieces adjustable about axes at right angles to the upper surface of the tailgate. A round bar has end pieces adjustable about the bar axis.
