Abstract: Cytorhodin S derivatives, especially cytorhodin S-immunoglobulin complexes are disclosed. Cytorhodin S possesses very high anticancer activity, but the complexes act more selectively on cancer cells and are more useful as an anticancer agent. New intermediate derivatives are also useful as an anticancer agent.
Abstract: An anti-dementia agent comprising as an active ingredient an adenosine derivative is disclosed. The anti-dementia agent is useful in the therapy of various types of dementia, especially senile dementia. Examples of the adenosine derivative include L-N.sup.6 -phenylisopropyl-adenosine, 2-chloroadenosine, N.sup.6 -cyclohexyladenosine, adenosine-5'-(N-cyclopropyl)carboxamide.
Abstract: The present invention relates to 1,3,6,7-Tetrahydro-7-oxoimidazo[4,5-c][1,2,6]-thiadiazine 2-oxide derivatives of the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 are the same or different and represent an alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, each of which may have one or more substituents; and R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, each of which group may have one or more substituents, and a process for their preparation. The imidazothiadiazine derivatives have hypotensive and vasodilating activities and can therefore be used as medicaments.
Abstract: A device for forcing liquid into the wells of a multi-well plate, comprising a tank having an interior for holding a liquid, the tank including a bottom portion having multiple fine orifices spaced for registry with each of the multiple wells of the plate, a top portion opposite the bottom portion, and side portions connecting the top portion and the bottom portion, an inlet for supplying rinsing liquid to the interior of the tank, and a pushable surface portion selectively movable towards the interior of the tank for forcing rinsing liquid contained within the tank through the orifices.
Abstract: Therapeutic agent for the treatment of peptic ulcer disease comprising as active ingredient at least one compound of formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 =5-oxohexyl,R.sub.2 =methyl orR.sub.3 =C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or one compound of formula I,whereinR.sub.1 =4-oxopentyl,R.sub.2 =methyl or ethyl, andR.sub.3 =C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkyl,is disclosed, together with a process for using the agent.
Abstract: A syringe-needle-like nozzle for tissue adhesive comprising a hub and a deformable cannula without a bevel, the cannula being made of high-ductile metallic material for medical use and fixed in the hub. The nozzle of the present invention is satisfactorily applicable in tissue adhesive injection to complex regions or small regions in organism. Further, there can be carried out the injection of tissue adhesive to different regions by means of suitable deformation of the nozzle shape.
