  • Patent number: 6591507
Abstract: An operational lever for a bush cutter includes a handle housed in a handle case, a throttle lever pivotally mounted to the handle, and a lock lever pivotally mounted to the handle. The operational lever further includes a torsional coil spring which exerts a resilient force on the lock lever. The lock lever is pivoted from an initial position to a pivoted position by an operator's palm. The throttle lever is then pivoted to a half-pivoted position by operator's fingers. When the palm is moved a small distance away from the handle case with the throttle lever held in the half-pivoted position, the lock lever is pivoted back towards the initial position by a resilient force of the spring. This causes a curved surface of a side protrusion portion of the lock lever to engage or abut on a side of a protrusion portion of the throttle lever.

  • Publication number: 20030005603
Abstract: A walk behind self-propelled crawler snowplow includes a snowplow mechanism driven by an engine via a belt drive power transmission mechanism, and an overload protection device associated with the belt drive power transmission mechanism for protecting the engine against overload. The overload protection device comprises a tension sensor for detecting the tension in an endless belt and generating an electric overload signal to disengage an electromagnetic clutch in the belt drive power transmission mechanism when a belt tension greater than a predetermined value is detected.

  • Patent number: 6344016
Abstract: At the time of vehicle start-up from the state of engine stopping, a hydraulic oil pressure in a starting clutch sometimes overshoots beyond a creeping pressure as a result of a rise in the hydraulic oil pressure in the hydraulic circuit, resulting in shocks. A hydraulic oil pressure command value to a linear solenoid valve which controls the starting clutch pressure is made smaller than the creeping pressure until the point of time at which the rise in the hydraulic oil pressure in the hydraulic circuit (=the point of time at which a condition of F2=1 is satisfied). Once a discrimination of a rise in the hydraulic oil pressure has been made, the command value is made higher than the creeping pressure for a predetermined period of time (i.e., for the period of YTM3−YTM3B1), and is thereafter made to the creeping pressure.

  • Patent number: 6311673
Abstract: A fuel injection device for an engine constructed at a cost reduction by rational integral formation of a fuel supply pipe and a part of an injection pressure regulator. A regulator housing of an injection pressure regulator is divided into a housing body defining a fuel chamber and a cover defining a pressure regulating chamber. The housing body is integral with a fuel supply pipe at its end portion. The fuel supply pipe is connected at its side wall to a fuel injector.

  • Patent number: 4565909
Abstract: A handle switch assembly for a motor vehicle having a bar-like handle member with a handle grip, on which the switch assembly is mounted, comprises a pair of elongated members to be combined with each other to form the bar-like handle, and respectively provided with a bent portion to form a cavity portion and switch elements disposed in the cavity portion. Push buttons or switch knobs for the switch elements are disposed in a control section which is provided at the cavity portion of the elongated members so as to be on or behind an imaginary plane which includes a rear end of a cylindrical surface of the handle grip, whereby to provide an easy access to the push buttons or switch knobs.
