Abstract: A ceiling fan anchoring bracket and housing assembly for quick and easy installation of the ceiling fan housing for either hugger or down-rod fans is disclosed. The assembly comprises of hook-up pins and stationary lock-up pin fastened on and protruding from the anchoring bracket. The stationary lock-up pin latchingly locks the housing of the fan by spring or urging mechanism. The bracket and housing assembly enables the user to install the ceiling fan housing to the anchoring bracket without having to resort to using tools. All a user needs to do is to align and engage one side of the housing to the hook-up pins on the bracket and push the opposite side of the housing onto the stationary lock-up pin on the bracket through a spring action to complete the installation.

Abstract: A blade spreading assembly for quick ceiling fan installation is disclosed. The blade spreadingassembly comprises a fan rotor bracket attached to the fan rotor and operatively coupled to an arm which connects to fan blade. The assembly allows the attached fan blade to collapse for storage and shipment and spread for operation. Since the blades are pre-attached by the manufacturer, the user is only required to unpack the ceiling fan from the shipment box and hang the fan up at a desired location and have the fan blades spread out with a simple single push. The fan blades can likewise be collapsed for storage with relative ease.
Abstract: A lockable quick-release blade assembly for ceiling fans is disclosed. The lockable blade assembly comprises a fan blade having one end for inserting into a blade receiving slot in a fan rotor. The blade inserting end is provided with a notch on the longitudinal side for lockably engaging with a blade locking member. A housing defining the blade receiving slot and comprises a blade locking member and a blade releasing member. The blade locking member has a spring biased locking bolt for locking into the notch of the inserted fan blade. The blade releasing member has a spring biased slide slice located atop the housing and abutting the spring biased locking bolt at a 45° angle so that upon a user pressing the releasing member the locked fan blade is released from the locking member.
Abstract: A fan blade assembly includes a mounting arm having a first end adapted to engage a fan rotor and a second end adapted to receive a fan blade. At least two mounting posts are disposed on the second end of the mounting arm and a fan blade has apertures for receive the mounting posts. A clamp plate has apertures with a receiving portion and a retaining portion. The receiving portion is adapted to receive the mounting posts and the clamp plate is movable to a securing position where the retaining portions engages with the mounting posts to secure the clamp plate and fan blade to the mounting arm.
