    Abstract: A high-capacity pump fabricated with improved motor cooling and corrosion resistant components, and powered by a variable-speed brushless DC motor suitable for use with a wide variety of applications. A brushless 12V DC motor is controlled by a manual and wireless variable speed control means to provide unparalleled flow control. The motor is contained within the housing in a sealed cavity in the housing, wherein the cavity is filled with mineral oil which maximizes heat transfer to facilitate motor cooling. A PVC impeller is contained within a PVC section of the housing thereby creating a corrosion resistant impeller section. The pump of the present invention has achieved improved performance over known pumps, and is capable of delivering 4,500 gallons per hour (GPH) at 6 feet of head pressure, while only drawing 30 amps at 12 Volts DC.

    Abstract: A submersible camera housing specifically configured for use with a portable digital video camera includes a generally bullet-shaped main body having a top, a bottom, a forward end and an open rearward end, and a clear cover removably affixed to the rear end forming a watertight seal with the main body. A battery power source is removably disposed within a battery receiving cavity and electrically connected to a light. A video camera cavity is specifically sized and shaped for receiving a popular digital video camera snugly therein. The clear end cover is adapted for threaded engagement with the read end of the main body and includes an O-ring which forms a watertight seal between the cover and the main body thereby preventing water penetration into the housing interior.

    Abstract: A variable speed motor driven fishing reel is powered by a brushless DC motor and adapted for remote control operation by adapting a salt water bait-casting reel with a motorized drive assembly including an end plate having an environmentally sealed cover removably connected thereto, and mounted on the opposite side of the reel from the manual crank, the drive assembly including a brushless DC out-runner motor having an output shaft connected to a planetary gear system configured to power rotation of the fishing reel spool axle for driving the spool. A power cable provides 12.0 volt DC power from a suitable on-board vessel power source. An electronic motor control system allows for variation of DC motor speed via a manually actuated speed control knob. A remote control device is adapted for wireless communication with the electronic motor control system to allow for remote activation of the DC motor in low and high speed modes.
