Abstract: A locking pole assembly is provided that consists of two telescoping poles that are movable along their longitudinal axis to adjust the effective length of the pole assembly. The pole assembly can be extended to various lengths by manipulating a rotatable grip that is coupled to a locking mechanism. Rotation of the grip about the longitudinal axis of the pole assembly in one direction unlocks the lock mechanism and then rotating the grip the other direction will lock the lock mechanism.
Abstract: An auxiliary vehicle lighting system is provided for use in a vehicle having an engine and an electrical system. The system has at least one auxiliary vehicle light; a control hub, connected to the vehicle electrical system and to each auxiliary vehicle light; and a system shut down function or program, connected to the control hub and configured to de-energize the auxiliary lighting system. The control hub is constructed and arranged so that upon illumination of the auxiliary vehicle lights and with the engine turned off, the vehicle battery voltage is monitored. If the battery voltage reaches a designated low voltage target, the system shut down function or program is activated, which de-energizes the auxiliary lights.
Abstract: A wiring connector for connecting the lighting system wiring of a first vehicle to the lighting system wiring of a second vehicle so that lights on the first vehicle are activated when corresponding lights on the second vehicle are activated. The connector includes a plurality of terminals configured for coupling with corresponding terminals on a mating connector on the second vehicle; a plurality of wires each having one end electrically coupled with one of the terminals and another end for electrically connecting to the wiring of the first vehicle lighting system; a wire-retaining ring; and a housing formed around the terminals, the wires, and the wire-retaining ring, the housing including a central opening within the wire-retaining ring.
Abstract: A connector for connecting wiring of a towed vehicle lighting system to wiring of a towing vehicle lighting system so that lights on the towed vehicle are activated when corresponding lights on the towing vehicle are activated. The connector includes a plurality of terminals for connecting to the wiring of the towed vehicle and configured for coupling with terminals on a mating connector on the towing vehicle; a ground terminal for connecting to a ground wire on the towed vehicle and configured for coupling with a ground terminal on the mating connector on the towing vehicle; ground fault detection circuitry for detecting when the connector is not properly grounded to the towed vehicle; and an indicator coupled with the ground fault detection circuitry for indicating when the connector is not properly grounded to the towed vehicle.
Abstract: A handheld car washing implement that includes a handle defining a channel for receiving a flow of water, the handle including a nozzle in communication with the channel, wherein the handle further includes a plurality of teeth, extending radially outward from the nozzle; a sprayer, defining a second channel having a first and a second end, wherein the second end terminates in a second nozzle and the first end is dimensioned to receive at least a portion of the nozzle of the handle such that the flow of water is directed into the second channel, wherein the sprayer further includes a plurality of tabs, spaced to engage at least one of the tabs and a canister in communication with the second channel via a port, and configured to store and deliver a detergent to the second channel when water is flowing through the second channel.
