    Abstract: A connector (1) for flexible fluid lines, such as garden water hoses, comprising a universal body member (3) which is common to all interconnecting components of the system, wherein there is a twist-together, twist-apart bayonet connection between component parts (1 and 7), wherein the locking lug (14) of the first component (1) engages a groove in the inner coupling member (8) of the second component (7), and the locking lug (14) of the second component (7) engages a groove in the inner coupling member (5) of the first component (1).
