  • Patent number: 8209991
Abstract: The liquid refrigerant from the compressor 20 and the condenser 21 is alternately supplied to the cooling device for the freezing room 27F and the evaporator for the refrigeration room 27R through the three-way valve 24, so that the freezing room and the refrigeration room are alternately cooled. Here, the ratio of the refrigerant supply time to each evaporator is controlled based not on a deviation between a target temperature set for each storage room and an actual storage room temperature measured in each storage room, but on an integrated value obtained by integrating the difference of these deviations. In a cooling storage, in which from one compressor a refrigerant is selectively supplied to multiple evaporators respectively disposed in multiple storage rooms of varied thermal loads, a one-storage room cooling mode is prevented from being unnecessarily switched to a alternate cooling mode.

  • Publication number: 20120000226
Abstract: An automatic ice making machine is provided that is capable of modifying an amount of feeding water depending on a temperature of makeup water. The automatic ice making machine is equipped with a deicing timer 42 to keep time of a deicing completion time period T1 in which deicing operation is completed. In addition, in a control means 24, a deicing water longest supply time period U1 is preset, which is a longest time period to supply deicing water in deicing operation. In a case where the deicing water is low in temperature, so that the deicing progresses slowly and thus the deicing completion time period T1 becomes equal to or greater than the deicing water longest supply time period U1, the control means 24 carries out water feeding in a feeding amount of water at low temperature at the time of water feeding.

  • Patent number: 8042344
Abstract: To restrict the deposition of stain on an ice making unit, and prevent damage to resin components or the like. The above problems are solved by the followings. Ice making water is supplied to the front surface of an ice making plate cooled by refrigerant supplied to an evaporation tube during an ice making cycle to produce ice blocks. During a deicing cycle, deicing water is supplied by opening a water feed valve WV to the rear surface of the ice making plate to be heated by hot gas supplied to the evaporation tube. When a water feed time has elapsed, the water feed valve WV is closed to temporarily stop deicing water supply. After the water feed time elapsed, a cycle, in which the water feed valve WV is opened as much as an intermittent water supply time every time an intermittent stopping time has elapsed to intermittently supply deicing water, is repeated until a deicing cycle completes.

  • Patent number: 8028394
Abstract: A back surface of an outer case is formed by mutually overlapping left and right back panels. The overlapping edges on the front side and backside of the panels may be bent toward the opposite side at a blunt angle. A joint between the back panels is established in which the overlapping edge of one back panel is pressed against the overlapping edge of the other back panel. Spacers are mounted between the outer and inner case such that the overlapping edges are put in close contact with each other. The bends are deformed in order to prevent leakage from the joint after the injection of foam liquid. Due to the pressure of the foam, both of the overlapping edges are placed in closer contact while deforming the bends to be substantially flat. Consequently, the sealing properties of the joint after the completion of the thermally insulated housing are secured.

  • Patent number: 7975497
Abstract: In a refrigeration unit including a variable performance compressor driven by an inverter motor, a sensor is configured to detect a physical amount corresponding to a refrigerant pressure on the high-pressure side of a refrigerant circuit. A measured value of the physical amount is compared with a first reference value corresponding to a first predetermined pressure of the refrigerant and a second reference value corresponding to a second predetermined pressure lower than the first predetermined pressure. A protective operation can start if the comparison result indicates that an actual refrigerant pressure is higher than the first predetermined pressure. The performance of the compressor can be gradually lowered if the comparison result indicates that an actual refrigerant pressure is between the first predetermined pressure and the second predetermined pressure.

  • Patent number: 7908039
Abstract: A cooling device is provided with an inverter compressor. Set speeds of the inverter compressor can be switched to six stages from a first speed to a sixth speed. The relationship between each of the set speeds of the rotational speed is set so that the stages adjacent to each other have gradually larger differences in rotational speed as the rotational speed becomes higher. With this, independently from the level of the rotational speed, a degree of increase in cooling performance between each of the stages can be equalized. In a case of performing a control to increase or decrease the rotational speed of the inverter compressor stage by stage depending whether an actual temperature drop rate is larger or smaller than a target temperature drop rate, the change amounts in cooling performance that can be substantially equalized, and too high or too low cooling performance does not result, i.e. fluctuation in cooling performance can be minimized.
