Abstract: A method for implementing Policy and Charging Control (PCC) in a multi-Packet Data Network (PDN) scenario is disclosed. The method includes: a Visited Policy Control and Charging Rules Function (VPCRF) receives PCC rules and the associated S9 sub-session information from a Home Policy Control and Charging Rules Function (HPCRF), and sends the PCC rules according to the associated S9 sub-session information.

Abstract: In the field of photonic integrated communication, a method and an apparatus for filtering locking are provided, so as to solve the problem in the conventional wavelength locking technology that any increase of the wave number also incurs increases in costs and circuit complexity, and it is difficult to extract dithered information. The method and apparatus for filtering locking employ a centralized wavelength locking method of injecting a single dither to a Photonic Integrated Device (PID)/Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC), thereby reducing circuit board area and control circuit complexity. A weak dither signal can be accurately extracted by means of a combination of analog filtering and digital filtering. The technical solution is appropriate for use in photonic integrated systems in which two or more PID/PIC chips with multi-wavelength modules are cascaded.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for protecting a data service in Metropolitan Area Transport Networks, a work path for services transport is established between a source node and a work destination node of the services in the Metropolitan Area Transport Network, and the method includes: setting a protection destination node using the nodes except the work destination node, and establishing a protection path between the source node and the protection destination node to protect the services of the work path; detecting by the source node the failure state of the links of the work path and the protection path, and the failure state of the nodes in the links; detecting by the work destination node and the protection destination node the failure state of the links connecting themselves with data devices, respectively, and notifying the source node when there is the failure state; switching the data services of the work path to the protection path after the source node detects the failure state of the link

Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for implementing EAP authentication relay in a wireless access system. During the EAP authentication process, an authentication protocol of the EAP over a wireless medium runs between the Supplicant and the Authentication Relay, the EAPoL protocol runs between the Authentication Relay and the Authenticator, and the Authentication Relay performs the transformation between the authentication protocol of EAP over wireless medium and EAPoL. The method in this present invention may facilitate the interoperability between the Authentication Relays and the Supplicants from various vendors, as well as make better use of the current Ethernet access and aggregation network. The present invention can work under the current framework of a fixed access network without much modification.
