Abstract: An adaptive interface for use in conjunction with a digital printing system identifies a user and, based on the user's identity, self-configures into a command-responsive display expressly tailored to the user. The interface displays those system resources most relevant to the particular user based on factors such as authorization level, prior usage patterns, position within an organization, whether the user has jobs pending, or any other characteristics relevant to system utilization. The user is free to directly control the resources presented in the user interface, e.g., by touching icons on the display corresponding to different selections.
