    Abstract: A fastening device and a method of fastening a component part in an oil pan are described. For easy and still secure mounting, the invention provides a fastening device that consists of a base part and, disposed thereon, of at least one holding part for establishing a preferably reversibly releasable, substantially shape-mating connection with a component part, the base part being connected to the oil pan, the holding part being a constituent part of the base part and the holding part being bendable over a fold region.
