    Abstract: A method and apparatus for moulding ice statues using a mould formed of a liquid impervious flexible material which defines a mould cavity having the shape of the statue to be formed and a pair of extending wall portions which are held in a juxtaposed attitude during the freezing process. For demoulding, the wall portions are moved apart to increase the cross-sectional size of the mould to allow it to be released from the statue formed.
