    Abstract: A method for fast locating a decipherable pattern in an input image, which is characterized in utilizing an overly downscaled binary image to not only reduce computation time but also facilitate extraction of skeletons for fast and accurately locating pattern, is disclosed. First, a pre-process is applied to an input image to acquire a binary image downscaled n times, from which at least one skeleton corresponding to a decipherable pattern is extracted. Coordinate values of at least one pixel of each skeleton are respectively enlarged n1/2 times and used as the central points on the original image plane for establishing a plurality of detecting blocks with the identical size. Subsequently, a grading mechanism is employed to determine the corresponding detecting blocks of the decipherable pattern.

The cam and the checking plate are disposed on the shaft. The actuator is electrically connected to the CPU and utilized for actuating the transmission set. The sensing component is disposed on the checking plate and electrically connected to the CPU, and utilized for sensing the sizes of the indentations to make the CPU determine to accelerate or decelerate the actuator. The supporting frame is connected to the cam and the thermal print head, driven by rotation of the cam to make the thermal print head rise or descend.

The decoding module is used for converting the first, second, and third color levels into an N-bit second gray level by using a gray scale conversion formula.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method as well as an architecture for a host equipped with a CPU-level processing capability to access a Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) and at least a controller via a simple 3-wire/4-wire mechanism. More importantly, a multi-access mechanism further having a pragmatic bit determines the pragmatic bit for either the controller or the NVRAM. With the method of the present invention, computer system resources can be fully utilized, and thereby, peripheral devices can be easily added to the system in an inexpensive and highly efficient way.

The system bus controller includes a bus slave interface, a master queue, a bus master interface, a queue entries executor and a master queue management unit. Initially, any entry command transmitted over the bus by the bus master will be sequentially queued in a memory. Then, a corresponding acknowledge signal to release access of the bus is generated by the queue management unit. Then, the queued entry commands are sequentially executed to generate corresponding results, which will be caught by the bus master in an active or passive manner.
