Abstract: A lid assembly for a beverage container having a lid housing, a seal assembly and a trigger member. The seal assembly has a drink seal to close the drink aperture. The seal assembly is rotatedly connected to the lid housing and movable between a use position and a cleaning position to allow the drink aperture to be open for cleaning. The trigger member is connected to the lid housing and is capable of engaging the seal assembly in the use position, but it cannot engage the seal assembly in the cleaning position. Additionally, a trigger lock is connected to the lid housing to prevent engagement of the seal assembly by the trigger member when the trigger lock is locked. The trigger lock may also contain a visual indicator to indicate that the lock is in the locked position.

Abstract: A container is provided with a lid having a push-button trigger mechanism that operates both a drink seal for a drinking opening and a vent seal for a vent opening. The trigger translates in a straight line transverse to a longitudinal axis of the container body during the entire movement of the trigger to define a straight-line actuation stroke. The vent opening is initially opened during a first portion of the actuation stroke of the trigger, and the drink opening is initially opened during a second portion of the actuation stroke of the trigger.
Abstract: A drink bottle may include a container, a lid connected to the container and including a lid housing, a spout coupled to the lid housing, and an actuator assembly movably connected to the lid housing. The spout is movable between a stowed configuration and a dispensing configuration, the spout defining a passageway in fluid communication with an interior of the container when disposed in the dispensing configuration. The actuator assembly is operatively coupled to the spout when the spout is disposed in the stowed configuration to retain the spout in the stowed configuration, and the spout moves from the stowed configuration to the dispensing configuration responsive to actuation of the actuator assembly.

Abstract: A liquid container lid includes a seal arm assembly that stages opening and closing of a vent hole relative to a drink hole so that vapor within the liquid container may be vented to the atmosphere before the drink hole is opened. The liquid container lid and seal arm assembly reduce or eliminate the possibility of a consumer being injured by the hot vapor exiting through the drink hole due to excess gas pressure within the liquid container. The seal arm assembly is operatively connected to a cap of the liquid container lid so that the seal arm assembly is actuated by rotation of the cap. As the cap is turned in one direction, the seal arm assembly opens the vent hole before opening the drink hole. As the cap is turned in a second direction, the seal arm assembly closes the drink hole before closing the vent hole.
Abstract: A liquid container lid assembly includes a straw having an internal one-way valve and a grommet seal for sealing against the straw. As a result, the disclosed liquid container lid assembly allows a consumer (such as a child) to drink from the straw while preventing accidental spillage without the need for the child to manipulate any part of the lid assembly (such as a lock or valve release). In other words, the liquid container lid assembly is always in a no-spill configuration while simultaneously allowing a consumer to drink from the straw.
Abstract: A lid assembly for a container includes a seal assembly coupled to a base portion, and the seal assembly includes an intermediate arm pivotably coupled to the base portion and an engagement portion disposed adjacent to a second end. The seal assembly also includes a plunger arm pivotably coupled to the intermediate arm and a seal member disposed on the plunger arm. Displacing a button member coupled to the base portion actuates the seal assembly from a closed first position in which the seal member seals a fluid aperture formed in a spout of the base portion to an open second position in which the fluid aperture is not sealed.
Abstract: A lid assembly is adapted to be removably coupled to a container, and the lid assembly includes an actuation member and a seal member each pivotably coupled to a base member. In a sealed position, a sealing portion of the seal member seals a fluid aperture. When the actuation member pivots from a first actuation position to a second actuation position, an engagement portion of the actuation member contacts an engagement portion of the seal member to displace the seal member from the sealed position to a first open position in which the seal member is disposed at a first angle from the base member. When a straw is inserted through the fluid aperture, the straw pivots the seal member from the sealed position to a second open position in which the seal member is disposed at a second angle from the base member.
Abstract: A beverage container comprises a container body defining an opening and having an interior volume and a 360° pour spout assembly removably coupled to the container body. The pour spout assembly comprises an outer plug and an inner plug at least partially received within the outer plug, the outer plug being removably coupled to the container body and the inner plug being vertically displaceable along a longitudinal container body axis and removably coupled to the outer plug.
