  • Patent number: 11166719
Abstract: An endoscopic surgery system includes a plurality of staples and an endoscopic applicator having a staple cartridge for loading transversely arranged staples. The staples have a central region and two side limbs and the applicator has a mobile body for holding a staple to be applied, the staple being arranged in a transverse plane, and for ensuring the deformation of same by bending in relation to the axis of symmetry of the staple.

  • Patent number: 10842484
Abstract: A surgical staple has two movable arms connected by a transverse connection area. Each one of the arms has a pinching area and a fastening end and the transverse connection area is deformable to allow the movable arms to be moved together by bending around the axis of the transverse connection area.

  • Patent number: 5737472
Abstract: An optical fiber of cylindrical construction provides a lateral light outflow. The optical fiber, which is adapted to convey a light flow from one of its ends, the inlet end (6), to the other end, the outlet end (8), comprises at least on a given area (2) of its outer surface a large number of closely spaced degradations (4) of very small size in relation to the fiber diameter, each of said degradations (4) causing the outflow of conveyed light through the point so that the fiber seems globally illuminated. The surface density of the degradations (4) varies in accordance with the direction of propagation of the light flow, which is thus substantially uniformly discharged over the entire length of the fiber.

  • Patent number: 5702511
Abstract: This aim of the invention is to develop an ink composition comprising at least one non-photochromic pigment or dye, a photochromic pigment or dye and a solvent, the photochromic pigment or dye changing absorption spectrum under the effect of a first light emitting in a wavelength belonging to the ultra-violet range, so that when it is subsequently illuminated by a second light only emitting in a wavelength belonging to the visible range, it has a color different from that which it had, under the illumination of said second light, prior to illumination by said first light, said color also differing from that of the non-photochromic pigment or dye when the latter is illuminated by said second light.

  • Patent number: 4628329
Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit for feeding ink to an ink-jet printing head.Consideration is given to a circuit comprising in particular a first auxiliary circuit (R1), the function of which is to measure the ink pressure between the feed pipe (20) and the ink supply pipe (18) and a second auxiliary circuit R2 which serves if necessary to clear the orifice (41) for discharging ink drops (100).This circuit can also comprise a third auxiliary circuit R3 for delivering a signal which is representative of the viscosity of the ink.Measurement of the pressure and of the viscosity permits control of the principal parameters governing the operation of the printer which is equipped with the circuit. The invention applies to any ink-jet printer.
