  • Publication number: 20190056271
Abstract: A luminance evaluation image 1 has a determination portion 3 configured such that luminance changes progressively between low and high luminance regions 3a and 3b defined to have luminance levels lower and higher than an upper limit of luminance displayable on the image display device 4, respectively. A chromaticity evaluation image has a determination portion configured such that chroma changes progressively between low and high chroma regions defined to have chroma levels lower and higher than an upper limit of chroma displayable on the image display device 4, respectively. At least either the luminance evaluation image or chromaticity evaluation image is displayed on the image display device 4 to evaluate characteristics of the image display device 4 from a position of a boundary B1 in the determination portion 3.

  • Patent number: 6807296
Abstract: Upon chromakey processing, 4×4 transformation matrix is provided through which a backing color selected is transformed to the original point and monochrome color is transformed to vertically distribute at a spot away from the original point along an axis. Matrix multiplication comprising only addition and multiplication is applied to a foreground image data signal to generate a masked output image and a color-processed foreground output image without requiring complex arithmetic operations.

  • Patent number: 5363232
Abstract: A spherical integrator has beam input and output apertures. The output aperture is opened at a position to which incident beam does not directly strike. The integrator has a curved inner surface which is a uniform diffusion surface. A galvanometer scanner has a mirror capable of adjusting a reflection angle of the beam from a light source such that a luminous energy beam reflected by the mirror to the input aperture is quantitatively varied. Beam from the light source is reflected by the mirror of the scanner to the input aperture of the integrator which diffuses and integrates the incident beam and outputs it through the output aperture.

  • Patent number: 5355174
Abstract: Inner and outer hexoctahedrons respectively showing complete background and complete background are defined by combining triangular pyramids centered on a background representative color on RGB space. Key value is calculated by changing identification function parameters depending upon which of triangular pyramids constituting the hexoctahedron each pixel of the image belongs to. As a result, an improved foreground image for composite is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5333020
Abstract: Mounted on a horizontal shaft 1 extending along surfaces of a film f are sprocket wheels 2 each having three tooth pairs 2a adapted to engage with perforations on the film. The tooth pairs 2a are angularily spaced apart from each other by 120 degrees around a periphery of the sprocket wheel 2. A triangular cam 11 is attached on one end of a horizontal shaft 7 rotatable in unison with the shaft 1. A lever 17 is attached to a horizontal shaft 15 carrying a cam follower 16 rotatable in unison with the rotation of the cam 11. A projection 20 which reciprocates registration pins 22 for engagement with and disengagement from the perforations g of the film f is fitted into an elongated slot 17a of the lever 17. A switching lever 14 is provided for displacement of the shaft 7 into a position where the shaft 7 is prevented from rotating even when the horizontal shaft 1 is rotated.

  • Patent number: 5126845
Abstract: A pipeline bus having a plurality of slots in a backplane for receiving functional modules. A bus line is connected between the slots. A register and a selector are provided between each two adjacent slots. An image signal and a sync signal are transmitted from upper to lower slots in synchronism with the clock signal. The selectors output a signal either from the register or from the associated functional module to the register which is downstream.
