    Abstract: A roof closure assembly for a vehicle includes a frame configured to be fixed to the vehicle roof and having an upper and lower side. A movable closure for a roof opening is movably supported by a movable support mechanism on the frame. An operating device includes at least one drive motor, at least a guide rail including the movable support mechanism for the closure and an elongate connecting member attached to the movable support mechanism and in engagement with the drive motor to enable the drive motor to drive the closure to move between a closed position closing the roof opening and an open position opening the roof opening at least partly. The frame comprises a through-hole providing communication between the upper and lower side of the frame. The drive motor is mounted to a lower side of a motor support such that the drive motor is accessible through the through-hole.

    Abstract: An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a rollo assembly. The rollo assembly comprises a rollo screen and a winding shaft for the rollo screen which is rotatable around a stationary axis of rotation. The rollo screen firstly extends in a first direction, next around a reversal member and finally back in an opposite second direction and ends at a rollo screen edge which is attached to a stationary member. The rollo screen has two longitudinal edges which, when the rollo screen is wound off, are brought into engagement with holding members. The longitudinal edges of the rollo screen each comprise a hooking member insertable into a holding groove and hook behind a narrow entrance thereof. A reversal member is provided with a device acting on at least one of the hooking member and holding groove to enable the hooking member to enter and exit the holding groove.

Each of the opposed longitudinal edges of the sunscreen near the opposite transversal edge is provided with a wing folded inward in a direction away from the respective positioning member, so that the wing and the respective positioning member are on opposite sides of the sunscreen. The wing accessible to the respective positioning member from the opposite side of the flexible sunscreen in order to engage the respective positioning member.
