Abstract: A box cutter includes a handle, a holder and a linkage. The handle includes a front slot in communication with a space. The holder is formed with a boss and operable for holding a portion of a blade. The linkage includes a sliding element formed with a pusher. The linkage is operable to move the sliding element toward the holder to abut the pusher against the boss to move the holder toward the front slot to extend a pointed end of the blade from the space through the front slot when the boss is located between the front slot and the pusher. The pusher is biased from the boss to allow the holder to return to its original position when the pusher is located between the front slot and the boss.

Abstract: An exercise ball includes a spherical cage and a sphere. The spherical cage includes two opposite openings. The sphere includes two opposite convex portions formed thereon. The sphere is inserted in the spherical cage and the convex portions are inserted in the openings to keep the sphere in the spherical cage.

Abstract: A stoking apparatus includes two concealable panels, a bent covering panel and a flat covering panel. The concealable panels are pivotally connected to each other. The bent covering panel includes a major portion and a minor portion, with an angle between the major and minor portions. The major portion is pivotally connected to one of the concealable panels. The minor portion is pivotally connected to the flat covering panel. The flat covering panel is further pivotally connected to the other concealable panel. The minor portion provides a gap between the major portion and the flat covering panel to receive the first and second concealable panels when the collapsible stoking apparatus is in a collapsed position.

Abstract: A tie-down apparatus includes a frame, a reel, a ratcheted wheel, a ratchet detent, a handle and a security device. The reel is rotatable relative to the frame. The ratcheted wheel is rotatable with the reel. The ratchet detent rattles on the ratcheted wheel to allow the ratcheted wheel to rotate when the ratcheted wheel is rotated in a first sense of direction. The ratchet detent is engaged with the ratcheted wheel to prevent the ratcheted wheel from rotation in an attempt to rotate the ratcheted wheel in a second sense of direction. The security device is movable between a reeling position where the security device keeps the handle connected to the reel and a locking position where the security device is supported on the frame and pressed against the ratchet detent so that the ratchet detent is firmly engaged with the ratcheted wheel, thereby keeping the reel in position.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for protectively hold an elongated object during bending and stretching of the elongated object. The apparatus includes a shell, sleds and roller sets. The shell includes a wall, support portions longitudinally extending on an internal face of the wall, and grooves separated from one another by the support portions. Each of the sleds is inserted in a corresponding one of the grooves. Each of the roller sets includes rollers attached to a corresponding one of the sleds. Each of the rollers includes a tread. The treads together provide an axial tunnel. A surface of the elongated object is in contact with the concave treads of the rollers when the elongated object is rolled in the axial tunnel during bending or stretching of the elongated object.

Abstract: A cutter includes a handle, a blade unit and a lock. The handle includes a slot in an end. The blade unit includes a holder and a blade. The holder includes an insert extending from a sheath. The sheath includes two channels made with small width so that a finger cannot be inserted into any of the channels. The insert is adapted for insertion in the slot. The blade is inserted in the sheath, with two exposed portions exposed to the exterior of the sheath through the channels. The lock is connected to the handle near the slot and movable between a locking position for keeping the insert in the slot and a releasing position for allowing the insert to leave the slot.
