  • Patent number: 11815423
Abstract: A piston press system and a test method using the same are used for predicting the roll service life of high-pressure grinding rolls. The method is based on the same comminution mechanism of inter-particle layers compression as the heavy equipment high-pressure grinding rolls to simulate the grinding process of the studded high-pressure grinding roll, realizing that the coverage area of studs accounts for 16% to 20% of the compression surface by disposing tungsten carbide upper studs and lower studs, better restoring the simulation process and effectively realizing the roll service life prediction of the heavy equipment high-pressure roller mill with a small quantity of materials.

  • Patent number: 11001689
Abstract: A method of preparation of a cardo polyetherketone structural foam material, including the following steps: 1) performing a mould pressing on a cardo polyetherketone resin by a high-temperature vulcanizing machine to prepare a foaming billet; 2) placing the foaming billet in a foaming cavity of a mould-pressing machine, performing a penetration and a swelling by introducing a supercritical fluid to achieve diffusion equilibrium, forming a polymer-supercritical fluid homogeneous solution, and 3) making the polymer-supercritical fluid homogeneous solution supersaturated through a sudden release of the inner pressure of the system, thereby inducing nucleation and foaming, and finally forming a structural foam having a closed pore structure with a uniform pore size and an adjustable pore density. The production process of the present invention is clean, environmentally friendly, and has relatively high efficiency. The obtained structural foam has good mechanical properties.

  • Patent number: 7158302
Abstract: A wire grid polarizer with double metal layers for the visible spectrum. Parallel dielectric layers having a period (p) of 10˜250 nm and a trench between adjacent dielectric layers overlie a transparent substrate. A first metal layer having a first thickness (d1) of 30˜150 nm is disposed in the trench. A second metal layer having a second thickness (d2) of 30˜150 nm and a width (w) overlies on the top surface of each dielectric layer. The first and second metal layers are separated by a vertical distance (l) of 10˜100 nm. The first thickness (d1) is the same as the second thickness (d2). A ratio of the width (w) to the period (p) is 25˜75%.

  • Patent number: 5965813
Abstract: A flow sensor comprises a heater module, a fluid temperature sensor and a Wheatstone bridge module. In the heater module, a heater is disposed very close to a heater temperature sensor and an insulation layer electrically isolates these two elements. The heater and the heater temperature sensor are disposed together on a floating membrane positioned normally to the fluid flow. The Wheatstone bridge module regulates electric current supplied to the heater, based on a constant temperature difference between the heater and the fluid, and provides voltage information of the electric current. A microprocessor converts the voltage information into velocity of fluid to be measured. A bypass channel is designed to adjust flow impedance of the fluid. Further disclosed is a fluid temperature sensor with the same design of the heater module whereby the factor of flow direction of the fluid may be ignored.

  • Patent number: 5869849
Abstract: A surface-emitting AlGaInP LED is disclosed. The LED uses a GaP layer as a window layer to eliminate the current crowding effect, or may has an ITO window layer and use GaP, instead of GaAs, as the substrate to eliminate the current-crowding effect and avoid the emitted light being absorbed by the substrate. The GaP layer is bonded to the double hetero-structure epitaxy layer by a wafer bonding technique. The present invention, however, provides a manufacturing procedure which is easier and more reliable to handle than prior arts.

  • Patent number: 4818235
Abstract: The invention relates to an improved isolation structure to separate active regions of integrated circuits and a method of its preparation. These isolation structures eliminate the so-called "bird's beak effect" which reduces the effective device area and thereby permit the manufacture of high packing desnity VLSIs. In the process, a silicon substrate is initially coated, first with a stress-release layer and then with a layer of polysilicon. After the polysilicon is removed from the active device area and patterned, a silicon nitride layer and then a thick layer of photo-resist are coated on the structure. By means of etching, the tops of the polysilicon cusps are exposed. At this stage, the vertical side walls of the polysilicon cusps remain coated with silicon nitride. The polysilicon layer is then completely oxidized to form the field oxide layer. In the final step of the process, the remaining silicon nitride and the stress-release layers are removed.
