  • Patent number: 8974181
Abstract: A rope-conveyor structure for supporting plates of a wind or water power generator, in which plates are coupled to a rope at positions spaced apart from each other so that the force of flowing water or wind applied to the plates rotates the rope. The rope-conveyor structure includes couplings which are coupled to the rope between the plates, and connection wires each of which has a predetermined length. Each connection wire is connected at a first end thereof to the corresponding coupling and at a second end thereof to the corresponding plate. The positions of the connection wires can be selectively changed so that each connection wire can support the corresponding plate in either directions. Therefore, the plates can be prevented from being displaced from the correct positions or from twisting, regardless of the direction of flow of the water.

  • Patent number: 8344540
Abstract: A wind and water power generator ship. A waterpower generation unit generates electricity using a difference between the ebb and the flow of the tides, and is provided with a buoyant body that produces buoyancy, which enables the waterpower generation unit to float on water. A center shaft is mounted on a base on an upper end of the waterpower generation unit, and is rotatably supported by a bearing. A wind power generation unit generates electricity using wind power, is provided on an upper end of the center shaft, and is rotatable depending on a direction of wind. The distance from a front end of the wind power generation unit to the center shaft is shorter than the distance from the center shaft to a rear end of the wind power generation unit.

  • Publication number: 20100193165
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an eco-friendly high-efficiency heat exchanger for exchanging indoor air with outdoor air. The heat exchanger includes a housing which defines a main body of the heat exchanger and has on both sides thereof an indoor air inlet for introducing the indoor air into the housing and an indoor air outlet for discharging the indoor air from the housing. A first plate is inserted into the housing, and has a thin sheet and a protrusion which is provided along an edge of the thin sheet in such a way as to protrude out and is open at predetermined positions on the protrusion to provide an entrance and an exit. A second plate is placed on the upper or lower portion of the first plate, and has a thin sheet and a plurality of protrusions which protrude along the length of the thin sheet in parallel. Here, a plurality of first and second plates is alternately layered.
