Abstract: An artificial dental implant includes an implanting part which is to be implanted in bone tissue and a crown-fixing part to which a crown is to be fixed, which are manufactured using a metal powder injection molding method. At least a part of a portion of said implanting part which defines an outer surface thereof is formed with a metal material which contains Ti as a base material and 0.01 to 3 wt % of M (where M is at least one selected from the group comprising Ca, P and Si). Further, the implanting part preferably has a coating layer which covers the outer surface thereof, in which the M content (where M is at least one selected from the group comprising Ca, P and Si) in this coating layer is preferably greater than the M content in the at least a part of the portion of the implanting part. The implanting part and crown-fixing part may be formed into an integral body, or formed into separate bodies such that they are engaged with each other when used.
