  • Patent number: 10439810
Abstract: An administration machine for a digital escrow server stores integer values each corresponding to a machine of a group of administration machines. An initialization function calls a polynomial function, unique to the administration machine, of a degree less than or equal to the number of administration machines, with each integer value, in order to obtain first secret values. The function constructs a message including, for each administration machine, the first secret value corresponding to the integer value of said machine. In response to a message having, for each administration machine, a second secret value obtained on calling the polynomial function of said machine on the integer value of the administration machine, the function constructs a resulting secret value from the first and second secret values. An overlay function processes a digital escrow using the resulting secret value unique to the administration machine and resulting secret values unique to similar administration machines.

  • Publication number: 20190137758
Abstract: A pseudo light-field display uses a stereoscopic display viewed by a user, with a variable lens disposed between each eye and the display, and a half-silvered mirror disposed between each lens and the display. A focus measurement device operates through at least one half-silvered mirror with one of the variable lenses to detect focus of an eye, providing a focus output, and controlling both variable lenses. A gaze direction measurement device operates through both half-silvered mirrors to detect the gaze direction of each eye, and provides an output of the vergence or individual gaze directions of the eyes. The focus, vergence, and gaze directions are used to establish a visual focal plane, whereby objects on the display that are being gazed upon in the visual focal plane are in focus, with other objects appropriately blurred, thereby approximating a light-field display.

  • Publication number: 20180307330
Abstract: The invention discloses a method to measure end-to-end and partial latency between an input interface and an output interface of a processing device. The invention uses a generator of a calibrated output to be output by the processing device through the output interface and a sensor configured to capture the calibrated output and send it to a processing unit of the processing device through the input interface. An advantageous arrangement of a calibrated output is a specific texture to be output by a screen and captured by an optical sensor. A specific texture comprises elementary patterns which have a defined number of pixels and a defined proportion and location of dark and light pixels. According to certain aspects of the invention, a calibration of latency is performed based on a number of parameters defining the hardware and/or software configuration of the processing device, and/or its conditions of operation.

  • Publication number: 20170294900
Abstract: The method for automated manufacturing of an electronic circuit tolerant to faults by temporal redundancy of maximum order N, comprising a step implemented by computer, according to which every memory cell of the circuit is replaced by a memory block (40) comprising a chain of memory cells in series, and a selection block which, in a temporal redundancy mode of order n1, n1?[1,N], selects as output data of the memory block the majority content of n1 cells of the block, and can furthermore deliver a fault signal if the contents of the n1 cells differ. Said method is characterized in that the inserted memory blocks allow a dynamic switching from a temporal redundancy mode of order n1 to any other mode of order n2. Said method for N=2, in association with a mechanism for recording with roll-back, allows an error with only a double redundancy instead of a triple redundancy.
