Patents Assigned to Institut de Radioprotection et de Surete Nucleaire
  • Patent number: 8201465
Abstract: The invention relates to the measurement of the tritium concentration of the water vapor in air and more particularly the subject of the invention is a method of automatically sampling tritium in the water vapor of air using a cold trap, of the type comprising a first step of condensing the water vapor of the air by cooling over a cold trap and a second step of recovering the ice formed in the previous step in the form of condensation liquid, characterized in that the air is contained in a sampling chamber (1) and is brought into contact with a cold trap (2, 4) which has been brought to a temperature below 0° C. and in that the liquid of the second step is obtained by warming the cold trap.

  • Patent number: 8173119
Abstract: The present invention concerns the use of cells derived from the cellular fraction of the vascular stroma of the extramedullary adipose tissue to promote the regeneration of tissue following lesions caused by irradiation. More specifically, the use according to the invention aims to prepare a drug for promoting regeneration of the skin, and in particular to repair the cutaneous wounds caused by irradiation.

  • Patent number: 7955266
Abstract: Ultrasonic contact transducer with multiple ultrasonic emitting elements and means of bringing these elements into contact. This transducer is applicable particularly to non-destructive testing and comprises means (8, 10) for bringing elements (2) into contact with an object (6) to be checked and means (26, 28, and 34 to 40) of determining the positions of elements relative to the object, using means bringing elements into contact, to determine delay laws to be applied to excitation pulses of the elements, to generate a focussed ultrasonic beam (F).

  • Publication number: 20100294956
Abstract: The invention relates to a calibrated radioactive source (1) that comprises a container and a material labelled by at least one radionuclide. The labelled material is contained in the container and said container is made of a material that is transparent to the radiation emitted by said at least one radionuclide. The source is characterised in that the labelled material is a self-hardening polymer that is chemically inert relative to the material used for the container and in that the container is a flexible sheath. The invention also relates to a method for placing the calibrated source (1) into the hole of a brick of a tissue-equivalent phantom (10), and to the assembly formed by such a calibrated source and a brick of tissue-equivalent phantom.
