Abstract: A strap system for securing insulation batts in position relative to depending purlins of a building. The strap system includes first and second strap members each having keyhole-type slots in respective ends thereof and button means for fastening the straps one to another.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying a layer of flexible insulative material to the interior surface of a wall from which a plurality of shaft members extend inwardly. A flexible insulating material is applied to the interior surface and a plurality of the shaft members are directed through the insulating material. An elongated flexible fastener member engages a plurality of the shaft members to secure the insulative layer to the wall.
