Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of utilizing a mobile communication device as a gaming controller, applicable to a game system with the mobile communication device and a computing device. The mobile communication device is configured to produce a sensing signal upon sensing the mobile communication device's state of being positioned. The sensing signal is analyzed to obtain a control signal including a control instruction corresponding to a control key code produced by an input device connected to the computing device. After receiving a transmitting packet to which the control signal is converted, the computing device derives a version of the control signal from the transmitting packet and then performs an operation in a game process, corresponding to the control key code, according to the control instruction obtained from the version of the control signal, and the frequency of the obtained control instruction.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for flexibly adjusting a navigation path and a device thereof. The method is applied to a navigation device, and the navigation device may obtain current position information and speed information through a satellite positioning module, then access a map corresponding to the current position information from a map database, continuously the navigation device defines a specific scope adjacent to the vehicle thereof and accesses corresponding traffic sign messages as a changing time in the specific scope from a traffic sign database, then plans a plurality of paths, and respectively calculates the total travel time of each path according to the current speed information and sign features corresponding to traffic signs so as to choose a path with a shortest total travel time as a best navigation path and avoid a path with traffic lights or railroad crossing lights.

Abstract: An expansion device is disclosed which includes an input/output body, a connection part, a turning structure, and at least one slot. The input/output body at least includes a first and a second input/output module, where the first and the second input/output modules are respectively disposed on two opposite surfaces of the input/output body. The connection part is disposed on one side of the input/output body. The turning structure is disposed to connect the input/output body and the connection part, wherein the connection part and the input/output body are turnable on the turning structure. The at least one slot is disposed on the connection part and configured to hold at least one mobile device.

Abstract: A method for coordinating a tablet computer with at least one other tablet computer to play an audio/video file and a playing system using the same are proposed. The method includes: establishing a wireless connection between a tablet computer acting as a master computer and at least one other tablet computer acting as a slave computer; the master computer generating an arrangement signal at least according to an arrangement of positions of the tablet computers; the master computer generating at least two divisional signals according to the arrangement signal and an audio/video file, each corresponding to a portion of video frame in the audio/video file; the master computer transmitting the divisional signals to the slave computer to enable the master computer and the slave computer to respectively display the portion of video frame corresponding to the divisional signals; and the master computer transmitting a synchronizing signal to the slave computer.

Abstract: An image input system and an image input method thereof are disclosed. The system includes an input equipment which includes an image capturing module and a first communication module, and a processing apparatus which includes a second communication module, a calculation module and a conversion module. The image capturing module is configured to capture an image of an object on a display and to detect an image-capturing distance or a position of the object. The captured image, the image-capturing distance or the object position is then communicated to the processing apparatus and may be analyzed by the calculation module to calculate an edge position of the image. The conversion module is configured to convert the edge position, the captured image or the object position to an input signal. This invention creates a new type of human-machine interface through the image capturing module, and the first and second communication modules.

Abstract: The invention provides a handheld projector and a projection method thereof. The handheld projector includes a projection module, a control module, a detecting module and a steering module. The control module drives the projection module to project an image towards an object, which includes a cursor. The detecting module generates a shift signal according to shift of the handheld projector, and transmits the shift signal to the control module. The control modules drives the steering module to rotate the projection module towards an opposite direction of the shift of the handheld projector, so as to make the image projected by the projection module stay in a fixed position of the object. Through the invention, projected image is not easily shocked, and the user only need move the handheld projector when change of the cursor position is desired, and thus operation convenience is greatly enhanced.

Abstract: The invention provides a communication device for automatically switching its communication modes and an operating method thereof. The communication device includes a photodetector module, a processing module, and a coder-decoder (CODEC) module. The photodetector module is configured to sense variation of light from an object to obtain an optical signal, and is configured to convert the optical signal to an electric current signal, wherein the light varies with a position of the object from the communication device. The processing module is connected to the photodetector module and is configured to direct the CODEC module to switch between audio channels of the communication device according to the electric current signal so as to change a communication mode of the communication device in a phone call.

Abstract: A monopole slot antenna structure including a dielectric substrate, a monopole slot antenna and a feed element is provided. The monopole slot antenna is disposed on one side of the dielectric substrate and has a slot including a first slot section, a tuning slot section and a second slot section. One end of the first slot section is located at one edge of the monopole slot antenna with the other end of the first slot section being extended towards internal portions of the monopole slot antenna and being connected to the tuning slot section. One end of the second slot section is connected to the tuning slot section with the other end of the second slot section being extended away from the first slot section. The feed element is disposed correspondingly to the second slot section, and excites the monopole slot antenna to generate two operating frequency bands.

The mobile communication equipment includes a primary module and a secondary module with a specific communication pattern including a transmission interface. The primary module sends out an inquiry command to inquire the transmission interface corresponding to the secondary module. The secondary module sends out a reply command to answer the inquiry command. According to the reply command, the primary module turns a switch inside the primary module to reach a transmission unit corresponding to the transmission interface of the secondary module. After the switching, the data transmission is made through between the primary module and the secondary module.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for processing a digital image in an image file and an electronic device having a function of displaying the digital image stored in the image file. The method is suitable for displaying the digital image on an electronic device including a storage unit and an image processing unit, and includes the following steps: storing a digital image file in the storage unit of the electronic device; analyzing the digital image file to obtain an image matrix of the digital image and a plurality of matrix elements of the image matrix; and generating a first size-reduced image through the image processing unit, where the first size-reduced image corresponds to a first size-reduced image matrix, which includes some of the matrix elements, said some matrix elements being not next to one another in the image matrix.

Abstract: The invention discloses a navigation system and a method for planning a route thereof. The navigation system includes a storage unit and a processing unit. A cloud database of a cloud server and a local database of the navigation system are allocated in the storage unit, which is configured to store road condition data. The processing unit is connected to the storage unit, and generates an initial route according to an initial location and a destination. The processing unit also compares, computes and analyses the initial route and the road condition data, corresponding to at least one road section of the initial route, stored in the storage unit to generated a plurality of reference routes. Next, one of the reference routes is selected as a final route.

Abstract: A gravity sensing input system, a gravity sensing input method and an electronic device thereof are proposed. The gravity sensing input system includes a gravity sensor, an input module, a processing module and an output module. The gravity sensor detects a gravitational acceleration of the electronic device tilted towards a direction. The input module includes a plurality of input interfaces, where each one of the input interfaces corresponds to a plurality of letters, and the input module receives an input signal through one of the input interfaces. The processing module calculates an inclined angle between the electronic device and a reference plane according to the gravitational acceleration, and determines which one of the letters is selected according to the inclined angle and the input interface corresponding to the received input signal. Additionally, the output module outputs the letter selected by the processing module.
