Abstract: An antenna structure for portable electronic device includes an antenna and an electrical connection element. The portable electronic device includes a main body, a slotted section, a shaft, and a slot cover. The slot cover is coupled to the main body via the shaft, and the slot cover is located on the slotted section. The antenna is disposed on the slot cover, and the electrical connection element is coupled to the shaft and a printed circuit board mounted in the main body, so that the antenna is electrically coupled via the electrical connection element to the printed circuit board. Since the antenna disposed on the slot cover is not parallel with the printed circuit board, a clearance distance required between the antenna and the printed circuit board can be reduced to enable reduction of a volume of the portable electronic device.
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method of updating Internet protocol phone contact information in general phone which establishes a connection between an Internet protocol phone and a general phone, wherein a first contact information is stored in the Internet protocol phone while a second contact information is stored in the general phone. When it is determined that the first contact information is updated, the Internet protocol phone copies the first contact information to a third contact information, packs the third contact information to generate a changed data packet, and sends the changed data packet to the general phone. After the changed data packet is received by the general phone, the general phone stores the third contact information to replace the second contact information.
Abstract: A casing assembly includes a casing having a receiving space and an entrance, and a lid mounted detachably in the entrance to deny access into the space. A fastening device is disposed in the casing, and includes a blocking plate and a resilient clip urging the blocking plate to rotate in a predetermined direction to engage the same with the lid, thereby preventing removal of the lid from the casing. The lid may include a downwardly extending tongue which passes through a hole in the casing and is to be engaged by a hook-like portion on the end of the blocking plate.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of transmitting facsimile over a mobile communication device, capable of fast and effectively sending facsimile by wireless facsimile services, comprising the steps of: defining a data structure to set up a transmission format; editing a facsimile content to conform to the transmission format; verifying the GPRS authentication to start the communication service for data transmission; waiting to receive the response for successful transmission after the data have been transmitted, so as to confirm the completion of the operations, and finally disconnecting the GPRS service.
