  • Publication number: 20210087021
Abstract: A method and a device for monitoring a state of a physical passenger transport system are described. The method includes monitoring the state of the passenger transport system using an actualized digital replica dataset (ADRD) which reproduces characterizing properties of components of the passenger transport system in an actual configuration in a machine-processable manner after assembly and installation thereof in a building. At least one detection device is arranged in the physical passenger transport system and detects changes in at least one characterizing property that occur due to wear. These changes are transmitted to the ADRD, wherein changes and change trends in the components are monitored and evaluated using calculations and/or using static and dynamic simulations.

  • Patent number: 7117980
Abstract: An elevator installation control method with zoning provides changes between zones at an interchange floor. Transportation to or from the interchange floor is by at least one feeder-elevator group and at least one connecting-elevator group. The feeder-elevator group has several feeder elevators that travel in a first zone below the interchange floor and the connecting-elevator group has several connecting elevators that travel in a second zone above it. Trip destinations are entered via destination-call input and the feeder-elevator group and the connecting-elevator group are combined into a multigroup that is controlled by a multigroup control. To optimize the elevator installation operation and utilization, the multigroup control allocates a feeder elevator depending on the number of trip destinations in the first zone to be traveled to by this feeder elevator and/or on the number of trip destinations in the second zone.

  • Patent number: 6886667
Abstract: Position transmitting equipment for ascertaining the position of a rail-guided elevator car includes a code carrier, which is arranged over the car travel path in fixed location on a guide rail with code marks of different permeability. A permanently precise reading of the coding is ensured by the fact that the code carrier is fixedly connected with a non-magnetic cover externally covering the code marks. The code carrier together with the outwardly facing non-magnetic cover are inserted into a receiving groove of the car guide rail, whereby a simple and reliable mounting is achieved and, in addition, temperature-dependent differences in expansion between the code carrier and the guide rail are avoided.

  • Patent number: 6227335
Abstract: An elevator car operating assembly is of a modular construction which allows customization of the assembly for a given installation. An inner frame is provided upon which the car operating controls are mounted. The inner frame is constructed to mount a variety of controls in predetermined positions. The controls are mounted thereon as appropriate for the elevator installation. A circuit board mounts to a rear face of the inner frame, and interfaces with the controls assembled on the inner frame. The circuit board preferably is pre-fabricated to interface with each operating control which can be mounted to the inner frame. An insert is located on a front face of the inner frame. The insert is customized to the installation, and has apertures aligned with the operating controls utilized; the remaining component-mounting apertures on the inner panel are covered by the insert, whereby a finished appearance to the assembly is provided.

  • Patent number: 6129198
Abstract: An escalator or moving walkway is constructed to absorb oscillation and lateral displacement of a first story relative to a second story between which the escalator or moving walkway extends such as which may occur in the event of an earthquake. End mount devices are provided to serve as fulcrums for the elevator and as dampers. Lateral recesses for the reception of additional damping elements may be provided in recesses formed into the building construction.

  • Patent number: 5988350
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aluminum die-cast escalator step with a reinforcing addition, by means of which the load capacity and thus the fracture load limit of the step body (1) 15 increased. In an unchanged compact step body (1), a stiffening section (6) is fastened in the transverse direction at the rear part at its underside (16). Side struts (15) are reinforced by enclosing side parts (7, 8) wherein the rims of the side surfaces of the side parts (7, 8) lie against the underside (16) and against the rear side (17) of the step body (1). A metal ring is welded to the side plate and encloses the stub axle pin of the step body. The stiffening section (6) has an asymmetric U shape.

  • Patent number: 5434377
Abstract: A pushbutton electrical switch assembly, having a particularly low profile and having uniform illumination, includes a lighting system within the housing of the pushbutton electrical switch assembly, the lighting system having four light diodes that are squarely arranged upon a printed circuit. Switching members in the form of microswitches together with the lighting system are arranged adjacent to each other and transversely to the direction of displacement of a pushbutton that is slidably arranged within the housing. The microswitches take a position in which the direction of movement of the actuation member and the direction of movement of the microswitches are perpendicular to each other. The printed circuit and the microswitches are fitted in a sandwich-type manner between flanges of lower and upper housing portions, with the housing portions being connected without screws.

  • Patent number: 4519474
Abstract: With this safety beading or ledge the drive of, for example, a driverless transport vehicle can be switched-off on collision with an obstacle, and can be switched-on again after removal of the obstacle. The safety beading or ledge mounted along a shock-absorbing or impact edge of the transport vehicle is provided for this purpose with a plurality of similar contact elements which are disposed in series and touch one another at contact points in an elastically deformable, pre-stressed tube. During collision with an obstacle and deformation of the safety beading or ledge the contact elements perform a rocking movement against one another, whereby contact is interrupted and the drive is switched-off. After removal of the obstacle the elasticity of the tube effects a return into the initial position, whereupon the contact points again touch and the drive is switched-on again.
