  • Patent number: 7424661
Abstract: A packet transmitting apparatus comprises a wireless LAN base station and wireless terminals connected to the wireless LAN base station through the wireless LAN. From the wireless LAN base station to the respective wireless terminals, data packets are transmitted in a signal form of frame burst packets without an ACK and a series of header information on the respective data packets are transmitted as notification packets in a signal form of multicast packets. Data packets are individually transmitted from each wireless terminal to the wireless LAN base station by unicast using ACK. Each wireless terminal transmits to the wireless LAN base station a retransmission request to retransmit an unreceived data packet among the frame packets notified by corresponding one of the notification packets. The wireless LAN base station retransmits the packet corresponding to the retransmission request to the wireless terminal that transmits the retransmission request by unicast using ACK.

  • Patent number: 4998107
Abstract: Control method for obtaining enough blank time available for operations of a CPU other than switching by employing only a single D/A converter is disclosed. Since data to be processed comprise data requiring fast and slow responses, this method makes fast analog signals converted from fast response data to be delivered during every storing cycle through a specified analog switch group and slow analog signals converted from slow response data to be delivered following the fast analog signal during a distributed individual storing cycle through a periodically selected other analog switch group, thereby obtaining enough time available for operations of the CPU other than switching. The CPU operates a specific one of a plurality of analog switch groups every storing cycle and operates each of the remaining switch groups sequentially every storing cycle.

  • Patent number: 4975689
Abstract: An operation display method and apparatus for variables of an oscilloscope including a rotary-push mechanism connected with a rotary knob is disclosed. When the rotary knob is rotated clockwise a little, a right directional arrow is displayed on a CRT. Then e.g. a cursor is shifted to the right on the CRT by a division every pushing the rotary knob. When the rotary knob is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise, the cursor is shifted a little to the right or the left. When the knob is rotated counterclockwise in the precise adjustment, a left directional arrow is displayed on the CRT. Then the cursor can shifted to the left on the CRT by a division every pushing the knob. Other variables can be operated in the same manner.

  • Patent number: 4907792
Abstract: A sheet guide adjusting apparatus for copy machines, phototelegraphic apparatuses, photo-engraving machines and the like, comprises a pair of sliding members supported on a machine body and able to move in a reciprocal manner to apply guides to the edges of sheets, and a drive mechanism mounted on the machine body and able to move in a reciprocal manner between and operatively interconnecting the sliding members. One of the sliding members and the drive mechanism being provided with clamping devices for clamping the sliding member and the drive mechanism in relative to the machine body, whereby the guides can be positioned to match the size of sheets by a center-standard method when the drive mechanism is fixed in a stable position in relation to the machine body, and the guides can be positioned to match the size of sheets by an edge-standard method when one of the sliding members is fixed in a stable position in relation to the machine body.

  • Patent number: 4072957
Abstract: A magnetic recording method and apparatus is disclosed. The magnetic recording method includes forming a magnetic latent image on a recording medium with a scanning recording head so that the magnetic latent image has substantially the same width as that of the recording head, recording the magnetic latent image again with the recording head shifted from its first position by a predetermined width to cause overlapping to form a magnetic latent image with a predetermined width narrower than the width of the recording head and making the narrowed magnetic latent image visible.
