  • Patent number: 4246840
Abstract: A printing machine suitable for printing on a three-dimensional article of small size includes an inking arrangement having a roller such as a blanket roller for printing a pattern directly on the article, a pair of rails parallel to each other for supporting thereon the article, a pair of guides extending above the rails for guiding the article therealong, a pushing member which is driven forward between the rails at the same speed as the peripheral surface speed of the blanket roller in synchronization with rotation of the blanket roller thereby forcing the article to slide forward on the rails to a printing position, and a controlling means for forcing an ink ductor into contact with a duct roller intermittently at fixed intervals. The printing machine further includes a mechanism for adjusting the position of the rails and the guides so that they correspond to the shape and the size of the article.

  • Patent number: 4220808
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a unique device for mounting electrical apparatus to a wall panel, wherein the device includes a main body portion having a cavity for holding components of the electrical apparatus and a pillar-shaped portion attached to the main body portion and extending through an opening in the wall panel. A free end of the pillar-shaped portion includes a plurality of outwardly protruding steps which overlap the wall panel, with a first set of the steps having a first axial length and a second set of the steps having a second, shorter axial length. A biasing member extends between the main body portion and the wall panel and biases the wall panel into contact with only the first set of steps, creating a gap between the wall panel and the second set of steps. A cover member surrounds the free end of the pillar-shaped portion and extends into the gap, with the second set of steps biasing the cover into contact with the wall panel.

  • Patent number: 4157463
Abstract: A switch apparatus comprises at least one contact block which is adapted to be connected with other contact blocks similar thereto in multiple stages quickly and easily. Each contact block includes a casing, a connector for causing the contact block to mechanically engage the casing of another contact block similar in shape or a lamp transformer block, at least one electrical contact contained in the casing, and a contact actuator member for actuating the contact. The contact actuator member is supported movably between a first position where the contact is unactuated and a second position where it is actuated. The contact actuator member is normally urged to the first position by bias means such as springs. In assemblying the contact blocks, the contact actuator member may be selected from a group consisting of plural contact actuator members in various forms so as to actuate the contact blocks in upper and lower stages in either the same or different operation mode.

  • Patent number: 4066838
Abstract: An apparatus for detachably mounting an electrical assembly unit to a supporting frame comprises a rotatable threaded rod mounted on the supporting frame and extending in the direction along which the electrical unit is moved to be mounted or detached. Pressing means is mounted on the threaded rod movably in the axial direction thereof. Stop means is fixedly provided on the electrical unit in such position to be engaged by the pressing means. By rotating the threaded rod in one direction, the stop means is forcefully engaged with the pressing means, whereby the electrical unit is moved to the tightly clamped position. The rotation of the threaded rod in the other direction causes the movement of the pressing means in the opposite direction, whereby the stop and hence the electrical assembly unit are moved to the removed or detached position under the pressing force of the engaged pressing means.
