  • Patent number: 6078443
Abstract: A rotary disk for an image-changing light device includes a metal disk body adapted to be disposed in the light device. The disk body is formed by two disk halves coupled detachably with each other, and a plurality of colored lenses. Each of the disk halves is pressed to form a circle of angularly spaced recess units and is punched to form a circle of openings through the disk half. Each of the recess units is defined by a bottom wall unit through a portion of which a corresponding one of the openings is formed so that the light beam emitted from a light emitting unit of the light device can pass through the openings when the disk rotates. Each of the lenses is clamped between the bottom wall units of the disk halves in such a manner that a portion of the lens is fitted within a corresponding one of the recess units of one of the disk halves while another portion of the lens is fitted within a corresponding one of the recess units of the other one of the disk halves.

  • Patent number: 6030100
Abstract: A control apparatus capable of resetting a shielding wheel of a stepwise light projecting device to a predetermined starting position includes a photosensor, a slotted wheel and a control circuit unit. The device includes a stepping motor, an output shaft which extends outwardly from front and rear lateral walls of the motor, and the shielding wheel fixed to a front end of the shaft. The photosensor includes a phototransmitter and a photoreceiver spaced from the phototransmitter to define a channel therebetween. The slotted wheel is mounted on a rear end of the shaft, and has a circumferential portion that extends into the channel and that is formed with a radial slot to permit transmission of radiant energy from the phototransmitter to the protoreceiver only when the shielding wheel is in the starting position.

  • Patent number: 5749640
Abstract: A light emitting apparatus includes a first stepper motor, a mounting frame, a second stepper motor, at least one reflector, and a light source. The first stepper motor has a first rotor and a first output shaft coupled to and driven by the first rotor. The frame is fixed to and rotates together with the first output shaft. The second stepper motor has a second rotor and a second output shaft coupled to and driven by the second rotor. The second stepper motor is mounted on the mounting frame such that the second output shaft is transverse to the first output shaft and is rotatable relative to the mounting frame. The reflector is fixed to and rotates with the second output shaft, and has a light reflecting surface and a plurality of differently colored reflecting facets disposed around an axis of the second output shaft and on the reflecting surface.

  • Patent number: 5183411
Abstract: A coaxial cable includes a coaxial wire having a central conductor, an outer conductor, an inner insulating layer between said central and outer conductors and an outer insulating layer covering said outer conductor. A hollow metal tube has an inner wall, a first end and a second end which is restricted and press-formed to possess a polygonal wall surface tightly receiving the outer conductor of the coaxial wire when the latter is inserted into the metal tube. The metal tube further has a stop member adjacent to the first end. A plug member is inserted into the first end of the hollow metal tube where the stop member limits the movement of the plug member in the metal tube. The first end of the metal tube is in electrical contact with an annular electric conducting wall of the plug member, and a central electric conducting blade axially extends into the metal tube and electrically contacts the central conductor of the coaxial wire.
