    Abstract: A bonnet displacement mechanism for coupling a bonnet panel to a body structure of a vehicle. The bonnet displacement mechanism comprises a hinge mechanism for elevating a rear edge of the bonnet panel from a normal position, in-use, to a deployed position, and for lowering the rear edge of the bonnet panel from the deployed position to a latched position. The bonnet displacement mechanism comprises a latch mechanism to latch the hinge mechanism at the latched position.
