Abstract: A flat hook is provided with a retractable, spring loaded lock-pin that is used to retain the hook on a rail, pole, etc., extending through the throat of the hook. The lock-pin is either biased in a retaining position or a retracted position. A mechanism is provided to positively lock the lock-pin in the retaining position if desired.
