Abstract: A microbioelectrode having high performance produced by immobilization by incorporating a biologically active substance in the interior or on the surface of a porous conductive material layer or fine particle layer which has been deposited on the surface of a transducing material. The inventive microbioelectrode demonstrates sufficient output even if the sensor using the electrode is very small in size.
