  • Publication number: 20160075214
Abstract: If the quantity of heat absorbed by an exterior heat exchanger 33 has decreased, a switch is made into a first hot gas heating operation mode in which a refrigerant discharged from a motor-driven compressor 30 is allowed to flow through a downstream interior heat exchanger 31 and an upstream interior heat exchanger 32, bypass the exterior heat exchanger 33, and then be sucked into the motor-driven compressor 30 after its pressure has been reduced.

  • Patent number: 7036576
Abstract: An air conditioning unit and an air blowing unit are connected via an intermediate duct. The air blowing unit is provided on the left side of the air conditioning unit in the forward direction of a car. The air conditioning unit includes an air mix damper and a discharge direction switching damper for switching the discharge direction of conditioned air, each driven by a corresponding actuator via a link mechanism associated therewith. The link mechanism and the actuator are provided on a wall part of the air conditioning unit. From the perspective of the forward direction of a car, the link mechanism and actuator are mounted on a left wall part of the casing of the air conditioning unit. On the other hand, the air blowing unit is provided with an actuator for driving an indoor air/outside air switching damper, and the actuator is mounted to a side of a casing of the air blowing unit facing the air conditioning unit. Thus, the resulting air conditioner is reduced in size to reduce its installation space.

Abstract: A blower means is provided by a cross flow fan 4 in which a plurality of axially extending blades 13 are arranged in rows in a circumferential direction and connected axially with connecting plates 14 interposed therebetween. The cross flow fan 4 is positioned generally horizontal in a widthwise direction of the vehicle. A heat exchanger 2 is disposed on the suction side of the cross flow fan 4 and in the front-and-rear direction of the vehicle, while an air inlet port 6 and an air blowoff port 7 of a casing 1 are opened to the rear parcel panel P. The casing 1 is vertically divided into an upper casing 1a and a lower casing 1b by a plane containing a rotating shaft 5 of the cross flow fan 4. An air passage from the air inlet port 6 to the air blowoff port 7 of the casing 1 is formed into a generally U-shape.
