Patents Assigned to Jeffrey M. Libit
  • Patent number: 5638994
Abstract: A bottle for spraying or dispensing liquids comprising a principal chamber, a siphon tube extending alongside the chamber and a separate trigger bulb connected to the top of the siphon tube. The siphon tube is also pinch molded so that a valve seat is formed therein. When the trigger bulb is decompressed, the liquid that is drawn up into the siphon tube cascades over into the trigger bulb. When the trigger bulb is fully primed, any pressure subsequently applied to the trigger bulb will cause the liquid to be sprayed out of the bottle.

  • Patent number: 5328061
Abstract: A slide dispensing cap and dispensing stopper for a dispensing bottle which includes a one-way valve between the interior of the bottle and the cap so that air cannot enter into the bottle when product is dispensed through a tube because the valve closes to prevent product from passing through the one-way valve. A tube communicates with the stopper and in a dispensing position of the slide nozzle so that product can pass out through the nozzle. After dispensing the bottle is released and air can enter the bottle through the one-way valve.

  • Patent number: 5303851
Abstract: A spray or dispensing bottle is preferably blow molded from plastic material which is squeezable, with a sufficient plastic memory to cause the plastic to return to its original shape after it is squeezed and relaxed. The bottle includes an integral tube which extends from the bottom of the bottle, upwardly to the top of the bottle. Along the route of this tube, an aneurism or bladder is formed to receive and hold fluid which is sucked up the tube when the bladder is squeezed. Check valves are provided for opening and closing the fluid path from the bottle to the bladder and out of a nozzle. Thus, the bladder may be repeatedly pressed to create a vacuum, causing it to fill, or if squeezed when full, to spray the fluid out of the bottle. In one embodiment, a lever arm is positioned over the bladder in order to increase the mechanical advantage and relieve the stress which results if fingers must be used to squeeze the bladder.

  • Patent number: 5263727
Abstract: A collapsible luggage cart which can be stored in a frame container with a spring biased door such that when the door is released spring biased wheels open the door and move to the extended position where they clear the door which then moves to the closed position and locks the wheels in the extended positions. A U-shaped telescoping handle is provided and a pivotal luggage shelf attaches to the frame.
