Patents Assigned to JESSEM TOOL COMPANY
  • Patent number: 11084110
Abstract: A guide assembly for use with a tool to guide movement of the tool along a channel defined by a work platform. The guide assembly comprises an elongate bar slidably received in the channel. The elongate bar has a width that is less than a width of the channel. The elongate bar defines recesses extending from a first side of the elongate bar toward a second side of the elongate bar. Guides are moveably mounted in one of the recesses of the elongate bar to adjust a working width of the guide assembly to fit the width of the channel. Each guide projects from its recess and has a portion thereof disposed outward of the first side of the elongate bar. The working width of the guide assembly extends between the second side of the elongate bar and the portion of the guide disposed outward of the first side of the elongate bar.

  • Patent number: 8763502
Abstract: A featherboard assembly for use with a work table. The featherboard assembly includes a featherboard having a body and an axis. The featherboard assembly further includes an adjustment mechanism associated with the featherboard for attaching the featherboard to the work table. The adjustment mechanism permits the featherboard to be adjusted on the table along a first axis and permits the featherboard to be adjusted along a second axis. The adjustment mechanism is capable of locking the featherboard against movement along the second axis while the featherboard is moved along the first axis and locking the featherboard against movement along the first axis while the featherboard is moved along the second axis.

  • Publication number: 20090272463
Abstract: A jig for cutting a mortise in a workpiece using a drilling tool having a mortising drill bit. The jig includes a base and a guide plate mounted on the base for movement relative to the base. A guide assembly locates the drilling tool. The guide assembly includes at least one rail supported by the guide plate. A guide is mounted on the rails for movement along the rails relative to the guide plate. The guide has an opening therein receiving and positioning the drilling tool. A bushing within the opening in the guide is mounted on the guide for rotation relative to the guide plate. A guide actuator includes a lever operatively mounted on the guide plate and a link connecting the lever to the guide whereby rocking the lever produces linear reciprocating motion of the guide on the rails.

  • Publication number: 20090004956
Abstract: The honing jig has a base on which a whetstone or other abrasive substance is mounted. A pair of spaced guide rods extends the length of the base. A carriage is mounted to tubes which slide along the rods and through which the guide rods extend. The blade to be sharpened is held to the carriage by a clamp and the clamp swivels on the carriage to allow the inclination of the blade relative to the whetstone to be adjusted. The angle of the guide rods can be adjusted to permit fine adjustment of the inclination of the blade.
