Publication number: 20140093397Abstract: A trailed agricultural implement is disclosed. The trailed agricultural implement includes a hydraulically-driven pump for moving a fluid at an actual fluid rate. An electro-hydraulic valve is configured to regulate an implement hydraulic pressure to the hydraulically-driven pump. The hydraulically-driven pump regulates the actual fluid rate. The electro-hydraulic valve is configured to receive a vehicle hydraulic pressure. The electro-hydraulic valve communicates with a vehicle load sense system. The load sense system senses the implement hydraulic pressure and communicates with a vehicle hydraulic pump. The vehicle hydraulic pump adjusts the vehicle hydraulic pressure to correspond to the implement hydraulic pressure.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2012Publication date: April 3, 2014Applicants: JOHN DEERE FABRIEK HORST B.V., DEERE & COMPANYInventors: JOSHUA J. Patent number: 7913930Abstract: A spray linkage (10) for a crop sprayer includes a support (16) and a central frame (18) pivotally connected to the support (16), the central frame (18) being pivotable about an axis (32) from a neutral position. At least one hydraulic cylinder (34, 36) is fastened at one end to the support (16) and at the other end to the central frame (18). To damp the spray linkage (10) during oscillating movements, at least a first hydraulic cylinder (34, 36) has a first and a second hydraulic chamber (44, 46, 48, 50), a first hydraulic line (52, 54) is provided which discharges into the first hydraulic chamber (44, 46) and a second hydraulic line (54, 52) is provided which discharges into the second hydraulic chamber (48, 50). Restrictor structure (58, 60, 62, 64) throttles hydraulic flow from a hydraulic chamber (44, 46, 48, 50) while hydraulic flow into a hydraulic chamber (44, 46, 48, 50) is relatively unthrottled.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2008Date of Patent: March 29, 2011Assignee: John Deere Fabriek Horst B.V.Inventors: Hans Andre Johan Theeuwen, Petrus Johannes Maria Fransen, Kent Alvin Klemme

Patent number: 7721909Abstract: A tank for an agricultural field sprayer having a fill region and a first closure. To avoid costly connections for lines at the tank and to reduce the cost of manufacture of the tank, the first closure can be rigidly connected to the tank and provided with an opening uncovered by a second closure. The connections of the first closure are arranged on a region configured as a connecting region, so that an access to the fill region is made possible by the second closure, even if the sprayer is in operation, particularly in a washing-in operation or in a circulating operation.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2005Date of Patent: May 25, 2010Assignee: John Deere Fabriek Horst B. Patent number: 7703699Abstract: A beam (16) such as a spray bar of an agricultural sprayer (10) is pivotable about an axis (22) into an operating position. In the operating position, the bar is in contact with a stop (28) located on a two-legged lever (30), one leg (42) of which is acted upon by the beam (16) and the other leg (44) of which is acted upon by a energy storing mechanism (34).Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 2007Date of Patent: April 27, 2010Assignee: John Deere Fabriek Horst B. Patent number: 7503591Abstract: A spray bar assembly conduit having a connecting area easily attachable to a connecting piece. The connecting area includes a first outwardly directed bead which contacts the connecting piece and a second inwardly directed bead. The connecting piece is preferably equipped with a connecting plug or locking device for securing the connecting piece axially in the connecting area with the connecting plug engaging with the first bead.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2005Date of Patent: March 17, 2009Assignee: John Deere Fabriek Horst B.V.Inventors: Joseph M. Patent number: 7242109Abstract: The invention relates to a bus system comprising a bus line, to which electronic devices (26–36) can be connected. According to the invention, at least one electronic device (36) can be connected via a detachable interface (38) to the bus line, said interface (38) having a first connection (42) that is connected to a first section (12) of the bus line and a second connection (44) that is connected to a second section (14) of the bus line. To prevent an interruption of the bus line when the interface (38) is free, a bypass device (40) automatically creates a connection between the first section (12) of the bus line and the second section (14) of the bus line, if no electronic device (36) is connected to the interface (38).Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2001Date of Patent: July 10, 2007Assignee: John Deere Fabriek Horst B.V.Inventor: Joseph M.
