Abstract: Compositions, systems and methods of dispensing compositions for treating skin conditions, the compositions including an inorganic compound and having desirable viscosity, spreadability and foam drainage profiles.
Abstract: A novel device and method for delivering a liquid containing an active ingredient to a treatment site on the skin is disclosed. The device is useful for treating lesions or abnormal skin features such as corns, warts, calluses, bunions, actinic keratoses and hard hyperkeratotic skin as is often found on the face, arms, legs or feet.
Abstract: A method for predicting risk of a future disease condition includes the steps of collecting and transporting bodily fluid to at least one colorimetric analyte sensing element, detecting the presence of bodily fluid, collecting optical data relating to the at least one colorimetric analyte sensing element with at least one spectrophotometer after a predetermined time period after detecting the presence of bodily fluid in contact with the colorimetric analyte sensing element, communicating the optical data to a computing system having at least one processor and data storage, analyzing the optical data to determine at least one analyte concentration in the bodily fluid, identifying a threshold analyte concentration of the at least one analyte in the bodily fluid that is an indicator of the risk of developing a future disease condition; and recording the at least one analyte concentration in the bodily fluid over time.

Abstract: A packaged elongate sanitary protection product includes a folded sanitary product and a circular package. The sanitary product has first and second arcuate end portions comprising first and second ends, respectively, separated by a central portion, and a pair of longitudinal side edges connecting the first and second ends. The arcuate end portions have an effective radius and a maximum width, substantially equal to twice the effective radius. The central portion has a minimum width between about 75% and about 90% of the maximum width, and the sanitary product has a length between about 225% and about 285% of the maximum width. In addition, first and second fold lines are located a distance from each end equal to about 85% to about 105% of the maximum width of the arcuate end portions. The sanitary protection product is folded in a Z-configuration on first and second fold lines to form a substantially circular folded sanitary protection product, which is enveloped in the circular package.
Abstract: Provided are compositions suitable for treating acne, disrupting a biofilm, and/or killing bacteria contained in a biofilm. Certain compositions comprise a. about 0.1 wt. % to about 7.5 wt. % glycolic acid; b. about 0.1 wt. % to about 5 wt. % gluconolactone; c. about 0.1 wt. % to about 5 wt. % mandelic acid d. a glycol; e. a salt-tolerant thickening polymer, wherein the total amount of glycolic acid, gluconolactone and mandelic acid is less than about 15 wt. % of the total composition.
