When a request to transfer the access rights to the digital good from the account of the first user to the account of a second user, the transfer of the access rights to the digital good is authorized based on satisfaction of one or more business rules and the access rights are transferred from the account of the first user to the account of the second user while said digital good remains in said cloud data store. The access rights are deleted from the account of the first user.
