  • Patent number: 9829657
Abstract: A connector is provided the connector including a plug selectively coupled to a transceiver including a socket, a coupling pan coupled to the socket when the plug is coupled to the transceiver, a coupling release part accommodating the coupling part and selectively releasing the coupling part from the socket, and a both ends-opened cylindrical outer housing accommodating therein the plug, the coupling part and the coupling release part and inwardly formed at one end with a bending part to allow the bending part to selectively apply a pressure to the coupling release part. The present disclosure is configured in a manner such that engagement (coupling) or disengagement (decoupling) of coupling can be possible by a simple manipulation of pushing or pulling of a connector by mounting a coupling part and a coupling release part.

  • Patent number: 8043094
Abstract: A portable model and methods for simulating water treatment processes are presented. Included are a body of untreated drinking water, simulated sources of wastewater, and simulated drinking and wastewater treatment plants. In the simulated drinking water treatment plant, water is treated and stored for distribution though a simulated pipeline system. In the simulated wastewater treatment plant, simulated wastewater is filtered, settled, clarified, disinfected and discharged. The simulated wastewater may be transferred to the simulated wastewater treatment plant through a simulated sewage pipeline network. Simulated biosolids as a result of the wastewater treatment process may be stored or applied to land. The model may also simulate a storm drain system that diverts storm water to a water source or to the wastewater treatment plant. The materials used to simulate the various aspects and components are preferably non-toxic, non-poisonous and biodegradable in order to facilitate use with children and clean up.

  • Patent number: 4552995
Abstract: A portable, self contained, lightweight cordless phone holder is provided for the user to permit the free use of both hands and have virtual freedom of movement within the range of the unit while at the same time having ready access and use of the cordless phone. The mechanism is a device made of lightweight, malleable metal which permits it to be bent or adjusted to rest on the shoulder of the principle user just below the juncture of the neck and shoulders. The mallable metal permits the principle user to adjust the device for his individual body contours for the most comfortable position while being used. The device is basically of a rectangular configuration shape comprised of two "L" shaped wire components, an obliquely vertical phone support extended vertically from one end of one of the "L" shaped components and adjusting strap attached to the other end of the other "L" shaped component.
