Abstract: A damping device (14) for movable furniture parts comprising a fluid damper which is in the form of a rotational damper (20) and which includes two members which are rotatably movable relative to each other, namely a housing and a drum disposed in the housing. A damping fluid, for example a silicone oil, is disposed in the housing. During the damping action one of the two members is rotated by an actuating member and the other member is held fast. The rotational damper (20) is radially displaceably mounted and during the damping action is pressed by the actuating member against a retaining element (17).

Abstract: A pull-out guide assembly for a drawer comprises a first body rail, a second body rail, a first moveable rail, a second moveable rail, a first support roller mounted on the first body rail, a second support roller mounted on the second body rail, a first running roller mounted on the first moveable rail, and a second running roller mounted on the second moveable rail. The first and second body rails each have a U-shaped section including an upper web and a lower web, and the first running roller is adapted to be guided in the U-shaped section of the first body rail so as to run on the upper web or lower web thereof, and the second running roller is adapted to be guided by the U-shaped section of the second body rail so as to run on the upper web of the lower web thereof. The first running roller and the second running roller are non-rotationally connected to each other.

Abstract: A hinge comprising: a hinge arm; and a mounting plate by means of which said hinge arm can be mounted to a furniture side wall. The hinge arm is hingedly connected to a hinge member. An adjustment screw is provided to adjust the position of the hinge arm with respect to the mounting plate. The mounting plate has a slot open at one end and having two elongated rims opposed to each other. The adjustment screw is mounted in said hinge arm so as to be turnable but axially undisplaceable with respect to said hinge arm. The opposed rims of the slot engage in the screw thread of the adjustment screw, so that the adjustment screw can be screwed into the slot of the mounting plate.

The fitting comprises a pin-shaped member that is insertable into a hole in a first furniture part, and a fitting body insertable into a bore in a second furniture part. The fitting body comprises a tightening element. The fitting body is in the form of a circular cylindrical part defined by a curved side wall and a flat side wall. The fitting body is radially displaceable within said bore in the furniture part when not in a tightened position. The pin-shaped member protrudes from the curved side wall when in the tightened position.

Abstract: A pull-out guidance assembly for drawers has one drawer-side pull-out rail and one body-side bearing rail on both sides of the drawer. A fluidic damper is provided as a rotation damper (20). Between the bearing rail (4) and the pull-out rail (6) is displaceably disposed a center rail (5). The pull-out rail (6) is set into a drawer side wall (3) and fixed therein. The fluidic damper, which is mounted on the pull-out rail (6) or the drawer side wall (3), includes a pinion (10), which meshes with a rack section (16) of a slider (8) movable relative to the pull-out rail (6), to the drawer side wall (3) and to the bearing rail (4). A stop (11) disposed on the bearing rail (4) is provided for the slider (8).

A peg or bolt is provided for connecting the expansion portion to the expansion sleeve. The expansion portion has a body preferably tapered, at one end, and is articulated, at the opposite end, to a tiltable clamping lever supported by the fitting body. The fitting body includes projections directed towards the expansion portion. The expansion portion abuts a shoulder of each projection.

Abstract: A fastening device enables fastening of a front panel of a drawer to respective metal drawer side walls each having a vertical web having an opening. The fastening device has a fastening member having a holding plate to be attached to the front panel and a fastening device to extend perpendicularly to the drawer front panel. A clamping lever is mounted on the fastening plate by an axle and is tiltable on such axle between a locking position for securing the front panel to the drawer side wall and an unlocking position in which the front panel can be removed from the drawer side wall. A tightening member is slidably mounted on the fastening plate and is moveable by tilting of the clamping lever. The tightening member is provided with a lateral projection to be moved into the opening in the vertical web of the drawer side wall when the clamping lever is tilted into its locking position.

Abstract: A fitting for a piece of furniture is provided with at least one separate dowel, which is inserted into a hole of a furniture part. An expansion member is positioned within the dowel. The expansion member is connected to a lever with an eccentric cam by an axle. The dowel is pressed against a plate like part of the fitting. When the dowel is in an expanded position, the lever is situated in a recess of the plate like part. The recess is in the form of a slot. The dowel is positioned at one end of the slot and the plate like part has a casing at the same end of the slot. The expansion member protrudes through a bottom plate of the casing and the axle is situated within the casing so that the dowel abuts the bottom plate of the casing.
