    Abstract: A securely latched power connector assembly includes a male connector and a female connector connected with a first leading wire and a second leading wire, respectively. A first conductive terminal of the male connector has a first buckle portion for retaining a core of the first leading wire. A second conductive terminal of the female connector has a second buckle portion for retaining a core of the second leading wire. When the connectors are combined, a hollow plug of the male connector is inserted into a hollow socket of the female connector, and the first coupling structures of the male connector and the second coupling structures of the female connector are firmly coupled, while the second pin of the second conductive terminal being inserted into the hollow plug to contact with the first pin of the first conductive terminal, thereby achieving electrical connection.

The locking unit includes two engaging components disposed on the second connecting member, and two hook components disposed on the first connecting member and engaging respectively and detachably the engaging components for pulling the receiving segment toward a shoulder of the first connecting segment to cooperate with the shoulder to clamp tightly the waterproof ring therebetween, thereby securing firmly the second connecting member to the first connecting member.

The soldering sleeve is formed by a casting method so as to form a corrugated surface on the outer periphery thereof, and has a melting point in which a heat source is applied to an outer part of the insulating tube so that an inner part of the insulating tube is shrunken to lodge in the outer corrugated surface of the soldering sleeve thereby forming the conducting terminal connect.

Tenons are formed at front ends of the arms and a latching portion is provided at a front end of the base corresponding to the tenons so that when the lid slides along the base to engage the tenons with the latching portion, the lid and base are mutually positioned and restricted from relative movement.

The wire connector with easy entry includes an insulating tube with an outer corrugated surface and a soldering sleeve disposed in the insulating tube. When a heat source properly applied to an outer periphery of the insulating tube that corresponds to the soldering sleeve, it causes the heated insulating tube to shrink to lodge into corrugation of the outer surface and affix to end surfaces outside end points of the radially expanded portions, an inner periphery of the insulating tube forms a smoothly converging configuration oriented toward each end point of the radially expanded portion, thereby the conducting core is allowed to be readily inserted.

    Abstract: This invention discloses a novel socket connector and female terminals therein. The female terminal has a contact portion and an attachment portion. The attachment portion is set to attach to a wire core, while the contact portion is set to permit a pin to plug in and contact conductively. A neck with a smaller diameter is provided between the contact portion and the attachment portion. The contact portion comprises an outer barrel and an inner tube having a plurality of spring elements extending axially. Each spring element has a biasing section toward the inner tube axis near the plug-in entrance for matching the contact pin. The other side of the spring element distant from the biasing section is connected to the inner tube. The inner tube and the outer barrel are made of a metal sheet in one-piece construction while the inner tube is connected to the neck at one end and connected to the outer barrel via the folded part at the opposite side. The outer barrel is shorter than the inner tube.

When the insulating tube is appropriately heated at where corresponds to the soldering sleeve by the temperature between the first temperature and the third temperature, an interior of the insulating tube shrinks to lodge the gradually enlarged portion of the soldering sleeve to form the conductive terminal with easy entry for allowing a conducting core to insert.

Another section of the metal electric wire terminal used to connect an outer terminal. The metal material with the low melting point is embedded the vertical slot of the C-shaped section. The insulated sleeve mounted the C-shaped section and the metal material with the low melting point. Providing an application of heat melts the metal material with the low melting point, the C-shaped section, and the electric wire. At the same time, the insulated sleeve shrinks and wrapped the metal electric wire terminal connector and the electric wire. The connection of the connector assembly and the electric wire is complete.
